What does the U stand for in the acronym success?
It stands for Understanding at multiple levels. This is why success in one’s personal and professional life is sometimes allusive. It is a complex, unfolding, ongoing, developmental process. It is not an end-state. It is the practice of living life to the fullest.
Just glance again at the questions in the previous post as a starting point to appreciate the complexity. These are questions that need to be asked, pondered, and written out to reflect on and rethink as the ideas flow. The terms intrinsic and extrinsic refer to being tuned in to yourself and who you are (self-knowledge), and at the same time to being aware and sensitive to what is going on around you outside of yourself, and your immediate environments.
