You get charged and you don't know what to do with it. You don't even know what it looks like she told me to get a green I'm gonna get charged. So you go to that book you flip to that section, they tell you what it looks like and then I tell you what it's good for. That works really well. Sometimes the produce people can tell you what it is to or what it's good for. Get to know them, be friendly with them, make them make them smile for the day.

Shop monthly for dried goods and weekly for fresh fruits and veggies if that's possible. Sometimes it's just not buying season as much as possible makes it cheaper. It's healthier food that way. Avoid the store during peak hours. There's too many people it's just it's overwhelming and it's going to end up confusing you and I promise you're going to end up with stuff in your cart that you go home and go in there. Did that sneak in there must have been that lady I was talking to on aisle four.

She put it in my cart by mistake. Say please and thank you to the staff. Most importantly, please don't ever go to the store hungry. You will totally double your growth. Go about time you walk out of there. It's meant to do that.

Space clear your pantry before you go to the store, please. But do it carefully. Don't throw out all your food and blame it on me because the average family does throw out $2,000 per year of food and I don't want you saying but Alicia told me to throw everything out of my cabinets. So do it gradually. If you don't have a lot of processed foods in your cabinets, great. You don't have a lot to work with.

You can just do some substitutions you have a little bit of hamburger helper in there. Great just add some beans to it, get rid of that box and then replace it with a healthier pasta which is not going to be a packaged processed pasta mix. Make a large organic salad to get rid of the commercial dressings. slowly get rid of those and then either buy healthier ones or just make your own. I make ranch dressing and that's pretty much all we put on everything because it's good. It's one of my favorites.

If you have a lot of processed foods though, move them to their own dedicated cabinet don't confuse yourself by going through the cabinets because you're going to grab what tastes best first and put those in their own cabinet and slowly go through it having you know a couple of those every week again with adding clean foods to it until you get rid of them and then soon all of your cabinets are really pretty you'll eat what what is in your cabinets when hunger strikes. So the bottom line is if it's there and it's in your reach, you're going to eat it so what is in your cabinets is going to determine what's in here and it's gonna determine how you feel. foods are designed with preservatives and chemicals to yes true fact keep you addicted to them. Healthy substitutions, Rice's can beans, grains or rain meals, pasta, international sauces, spices, tomato products and proteins will help you kind of not get bored with Your food, and those are healthier options.

And I promise that revamping your kitchen probably only takes about a half hour. Yep, that's mine too. I mean that there is a direct correlation in the decline of our health and what we put in our mind mouths. You can't deny it. I don't care how many bad diets are out there right now. The fact is that what we're putting in is proven in our health care spending, which we went over last week.

Preparing foods isn't an option. If you want to be healthy, you have to prep foods. Anybody who wants to prep for anything is going to be successful that success doesn't happen haphazardly. Nobody like goes and wins a marathon because they just got lucky that day. They prepped for it. Foods the same thing.

There's no such thing as house moms anymore. Unfortunately, we all sit down most of the time and enjoy family meals once in a while. We do sometimes sad It's usually holidays prepper foods so beans nuts, overnight oats, pre cut your vegetables I there's usually some kind of bean that's sitting on my cabinet that's soaking in rotation so that they don't ferment in the fridge. knots, same thing, cut costs, reduce waste, save money and save time by doing those things. pre cut veggies are great. They're real convenient if you have to and your schedule is really tight.

However, there is package waste with that and they do cost more money because now you're paying for labor. And then you'll pay a toxic buyer pressure cooker if you don't already have one they do cut cooking time down by 50% it takes me 15 minutes to cook garbanzo beans and now I have fresh garbanzo beans that are healthy and lectin free and have all of the saccharides which we've tested before. And it only took 15 minutes because they were so if Don't soak them they do take a little bit longer but it still doesn't take that hour of boiling, let it sit for two hours and then whatever that weird method is that we use for boiling and cooking beans, and the textures a lot better and pressure cooker to I can't lie. prepping foods stores are designed specifically to make you stop here and there.

I promise you I took a course in food labeling food marketing, stuff like that, because at that point in time, I was going to get food out there in the market to I was going to sell my kale chips worldwide because they were really good. So I took a course and then they dropped all these bombs on us and explained to how we get our kale chips on the right part of the grocery store and all this fun stuff and then grocery stores didn't seem as fun to me anymore. There are colors smells a marketing ploys that are all over the grocery store. They're really bright. They're really be loud. They're just insane.

And they've got all kinds of colors and clever marketing. The Annoying stands, you know, when you walk down the aisle and your car almost runs into one of those cardboard stands that's on purpose, because then you run into it. Oh, crap, it's only $1 awesome. I need that. That's how they get you. There.

They're on purpose. And then you stop and you look at everything around it, or they're placed conveniently in front of something that doesn't sell quite as well. In my case, it's always the one thing that I want because I'm the oddball eating that thing that nobody else wants to eat when like, where is it and it's behind that thing. grocery stores have very specific lighting, music, shelving standards, etc. The stuff on the bottom shelf, that stuff's been there a long time. You don't want your food on the bottom shelf, you want your food, I level those people pay a lot of money to get that, that placed in that spot.

Learn to have tunnel vision, only on the list that you have in your hand. I guarantee sometimes I look really rude in the grocery store. Have you ever seen me in the grocery store now and say hi, don't take it personally, it's not you. I know all of these scams and tricks. So I look at my phone and I don't want to get distracted. I'm not stupid, I'm human, I have the same problems.

And sometimes I go to the grocery store hungry. I want to avoid grabbing all those tasty chips that looks so good. So I look at my phone the entire time with my grocery list on it. And then I just check off as I'm going along, and I'm not paying attention to anything else that's going on. In conclusion, the truth is passing through transfer passing through these gates of transformation, whether it's one week, three weeks, 15 weeks, whatever the jury decides. It's not an easy process, it's very slow.

It's going to come up here and there, you're going to learn things as you go along. That's why I'm going to send you the ebook too. Because you're not going to get it all in three weeks, you're going to get a couple of things here and there, or you're going to need something to reference there. So it's going to take time, and it's not easy. I thank you for coming. Because a lot of people want to avoid all this, because we don't want to know what's in our food, because it tastes really good.

And we don't want to have to give up comfort and all the fun stuff that is in the food. It does require work. But again, anything that you're going to be successful at requires work. You have to be diligent about it. Stop the distractions and we have, there's a whole lot of them. I listen to people all day long, talking about what they saw on the news or what they saw on social media on those phones, phone, constantly, whatever it is, we're distracted.

Our attention span has gone from, I think 30 seconds to about two or three. If you can't grab somebody in two or three seconds, you've lost them. That's sad. But that's the world that we live in right now. People are very distracted. So please keep in touch.

If you have questions that come up, I'm always here. That's not just for the three weeks if you have questions, once you get the book, can you read it and all that fun stuff? Please make sure that you get in touch with me. revisit it often and try one task per week. You know, like the assignments I did, don't do more than that. You're gonna overwhelm yourself, you're gonna fail.

You're gonna blame it on me and say, this doesn't work. Just do one thing at a time. It can take a long time. So, week three, of course, you have an assignment. I'm kidding. I'm not seeing you.

You still have an assignment. Continue to sleep for seven hours. I'm not letting up on that. You're You're okay for just the weekend so you can get your seven hours. Talk about the rest later. Find one new veggie in a store doesn't have to be a leafy green.

If you can find that leafy green and a vegetable this week. Yeah, that'd be awesome. Email me if you have questions about them. Holy cow. What do I do with these collard greens? This week they'll find a new spice that seems interesting.

It can be a spice blend if you want. Just make sure that it's salt free. Just something that you know, maybe you open a cookbook haphazardly, the rest of the recipe looks great and you don't know what that one spices. So go to the store and buy it just one because I don't want you having those cabinets full of expired spices. And it doesn't have to be anything fancy or expensive. I got.

There's a mystery writer that I love and he actually had heard about him on NPR and he published a cookbook because the detective is always cooking in the books. And so I got the cookbook and then sure enough There's something called Aleppo peppers. What? That sounds fascinating. It's a chili of some sort. I'm in and it's a Turkish spice.

It's actually delicious. But that's what I did. You know I opened that cookbook, I found an ingredient I didn't know. I knew I like it because it was some kind of chili pepper. I don't care what it is if you say chili pepper on it, and I bought it and now I'm obsessed with it and now it goes on pretty much every delicious
