DESCRIPTION:
It's like Game of Thrones, in space

How would you describe your book to someone? Can you choose two or three shows or movies, that would give the person listening to a clear and concise image of what your book is about?
For example, my most recent pitch was for my book of Royal Blood. I described it as The Royals meets a discovery of witches. Now, that might not mean much to some people. In fact, if you're not familiar with either of those shows, it would mean nothing at all. But if you've selected your shows wisely, and you're talking to people who work in the film and tv industry, you'll immediately paint an image in the mind of the producer. And we are, after all, working in the realm of imagery. We have to get used to thinking of our novels visually.
Later we'll touch on a series or show bible, and how to incorporate the related media you've chosen. What is a Series Bible? Think of it as a pitch document that outlines the world your story is set in, summarizes the key story...
