Connecting on Instagram

I confess I don’t use Instagram as frequently or proficiently as I could. I’ve still had some positive successes with it had mentions and follows, and used it to open further conversations with key people. So, it is definitely worth trying, especially if it’s a place you focus your social media efforts already.
 Once again, search for the people on your target list. Try a search by name, profession, bodies of work, keywords, industry hashtags, etc. This is a great way to search beyond your list. If they call you, it’s worth checking them out. Then you can figure out how to get on their radar. Use similar methods to connect as you used with Facebook and Twitter. You’re looking for commonalities, people you share in common. Love their posts, and engage and comment.
