THE PITCH

 The elevator pitch. (pretend you're in an elevator and have only the ride from the 1st floor to the next to sell someone on your story. That is essentially your Log Line. One or two magnetic sentences that will sum up your story in the most interesting way possible. A tall order, I know. But keep at it and test it out on people to get feedback and reactions. Some stories are simply harder to summarize in such a short span of time. In those cases, be very general, give the big picture version. The idea being you want to leave them with questions. Leave them wanting to know more. And most importantly leave them with an image in their mind. Because we are talking about visual media here after all.
