In this lesson, we're going to have you develop 90 day goals in each area of focus. You'll find it on page 18 of the workbook. But first, let's do a quick review. We started out by having to assess who you are and how you're doing in various areas of your life. You identified your personal roles and what your personal mission is in life. We had you identify and think about your special gifts and talents and, and challenged you to use them and develop them.

We had you set boundaries in your life to establish margin and gain some control over your life. You established your primary areas of focus that you want. These are the big rocks in your jar. And then we had you paint an ideal future state for each area focus. And now we're going to talk about 90 day goals. We're going to have you create 90 day goals for each area.

Focus You need to review and consider all the assessment information, everything you've done up to this point, to help you make these decisions to identify your goals because goals are foundational to development in life planning. Without them, you have nothing to pursue, you will revert back to wandering aimlessly through life. So it's important that you do this. There are two kinds of goals, development and action. A Development Goal is something you need to learn you need to grow in some way either information or skills to develop or some behavior to change. The other kind of goal is just something you need to do.

It's an action. You don't need to learn anything, you just need to do it. And that's true with so many goals in life. Let's look at life plan goals. Look at each area focus and develop goals in each of those areas. I want you to to limit the number of goals to approximately three or less for each area focus, you can only focus on so many things at one time.

As we've talked about in previous lessons, I want you to create goals that are realistic stretch goals. In other words, they're going to challenge you, you're going to move out of your comfort zone, but there are things you can actually accomplish. And remember that some goals that you write down will require development, you may have to learn something along the way. So here are some examples of life goals. Maybe you believe it's important for your well being to create and maintain a personal journal? Well, there's probably not a lot of learning going on there.

There's a few things you could learn but basically, you have to buy a journal and have a pen and start writing. Maybe you want to work out every day to get in better shape or to maintain a budget to spend your money wisely. And then maybe there are some divisions Mental objectives. For example, if you're doing a budget, you may need to use a spreadsheet like Excel. And you may need to learn that. Let's say that you wanted to have a blog.

Well, in order to set up a blog, you need to learn how to do that. Maybe in running that you want to learn a stretch routine to make sure that you are prepared to run. So there are any number of things that might fall in this category. And so, here on page 14 of your workbook, you have a place to write down your 90 day goals for each area of focus. And again, I have five spaces there, but try to limit yourself to about three of them. I think that will make this process more manageable.

You see the importance of having well defined and meaningful goals. Most people don't have them and without them you will not arrive at your ideal future state goals. keep you from staying Why didn't tie or I wish I would have.
