DESCRIPTION: Do you remember when you wrote down your ideas about why your children were acting as they were? Remember how you took a guess about the story that they may have been telling themselves about the person they lost &ndash; the story that allowed them to stay stuck in a vicious cycle of anxiety and pain? Well, that was the bridge you needed to move into Step 3.
The most useful tool to (re)build is storytelling. Because the stories we tell ourselves are powerful ways that we open or close our pathway to healthier healing.
What I have found to be particularly useful to engage in (re)connecting and (re)thinking through grief is the Art of Storytelling. But I didn&rsquo;t know it was useful right away.
