Alright guys, if you want to get up and stretch, go make yourself a fresh cup of coffee. Because this is where the fun starts. This is the exciting part. This is what you came for. That's right. Now it's your turn to write.

Utilizing the steps that you've learnt so far, I want you to go ahead now and write two draft blog posts to your target audience. This is purely the time for you to write a draft. So editing for this exercise at least is strictly forbidden. I want you to brainstorm two blog articles to write ranging from 300 to 600 words, then go ahead and write them out. Using your laptop or a bit of paper. Whatever works for you.

Go ahead and write those two draft articles from between 300 to 600 words and spend the next hour on this guy's so prepare yourself. Then sit down and write. Again, editing for this exercise is strictly forbidden. Because you can edit a bad page, but you can't edit a blank page and this saying is from A movie called Throw Momma from the Train and 80s comedy. And this is the opening scene, the movie where Billy Crystal's character is struggling just to write write the first line of this novel that he's working on. And he keeps scratching up bits of paper and chucking them in the bin.

Because he has writer's block. So don't let that happen here, just write. Doesn't matter how awful the writing is. Again, you can go back and you can edit that later. Because you can edit a bad page, but you can't edit a blank page. So set your timer for an hour.

Sit down, remove all distractions and right. Alright, how's that? Take a look at everything that you've just written in the last hour. I surprised. Maybe you've written far more than what you expected to two articles between 300 to 600 words. And now that right there in front of you, ready to be edited, ready to be posted.

That's what you're capable of. When you utilize the steps that we've gone through, so give yourself a pat on the back, and then let's go into the next step. The next step is editing. But don't do this straightaway. You want to take some time out away from your writing, refresh your mind, and then you come back and do the polishing. Now when you're editing, you want to ensure that every sentence moves the story forward in some way.

Tighten the belt on any sentences that amp along for too long. Essentially keep it as short and sweet as possible. That's what you want to be focusing on when you do your editing.
