So just make sure you're clear on those objectives before you check this one out. Now that you clean, let's go through the five easy steps to starting a blog. Number one, you've got to ask yourself, what will interest your target audience? Because there's no point writing for people if what you're writing about doesn't interest the kind of people you're trying to reach. Think about it when you're at the supermarket.

And you see those magazines on the rack and look at the kind of titles that they run with depending on the magazine, you know, men's magazines quite different from women's magazines, women's magazines generally talk about relationships and how to know if he's the right man for you that sort of stuff. Generally speaking, of course, whereas men's magazines you often see that the words sex in big letters, and that sort of thing. And what they've done very well is cheap. That might be is that correctly identified who their target audiences. And so they write stories and articles that match their target audiences interests. Number two, in terms of skill set expertise or your profession, what can you add to that topic?

Is there anything that you're seeing other people write about in your industry or with a similar background to yours, but they're not covering? They haven't talked about? Because if you can, if you can identify that that's your cue to write an article that nobody else is writing about, talk about what nobody else is talking about. Because chances are, there are at least a few people out there who would love to see somebody write about that one thing that nobody else has spoken about yet. And that leads us to number three, how can you be of service? What can you offer that nobody else is offering?

What can you do for people that maybe nobody else is providing or nobody else has explained it? Number four, and this is important, how do you keep it as short and sweet as Possible times a valuable commodity in this day and age. So you want to make sure that when you're writing, you keep it as short and sweet as possible so people don't get bored and their attention doesn't wander off. And that brings us to number five, which is, what is your post about in one sentence? If he can't, if he can't reduce it to one sentence and the chances that you're not looking at writing one article, but two, or maybe three articles that need to be broken up into separate parts. So consider that those are the five easy steps to starting a blog, work out what's going to interest your target audience.

Work out what you can provide what you can offer in terms of information or stories. Number three, how you can be of service number four, how do you take that as short and sweet as possible? And number five, what is your article going to be about in a single sentence?
