In this lesson, we will have a look at how time is handled. Entrepreneurs tend to be time optimists truly believing there is always room for that extra little piece of work. This stretching of time is a very helpful trait, enabling the entrepreneur to dare say yes, and to use the spamming it's often lost. But still, the day has fixed hours. Even if night is included. There's only 24 and some needs to be spent on mundane stuff like sleeping entrepreneur or not.

Entrepreneurs are people who get things done, they often get the question, how do you manage how do you fit all of this in? How do you have the time? Well, you don't have more time than others, you just use it better. But make sure to really do this consciously, not just pushing more things in there, but use it use this strength in a way that provides success for you. The entrepreneur can often arrange his scheduling likes, point being not only can he have to, in order to keep from being caught up in just this little piece as well. Combining action orientation with a sense of being able to pressing just a little bit more before clock strikes, often makes you do a lot.

But it also often leaves entrepreneurs with a feeling of emptiness at the end of the day. All that work, and still I didn't have time to. This is partly because you keep adding things, you keep pushing things in there, you keep thinking that you can do just this little piece more, and you can do lots of little pieces, but still, not all. Learning to work. The difference between Hurry and importance helps the entrepreneurs spend time doing the right things as opposed to just doing as many things as possible. facing up to the way time is managed and priorities are made can be a key to actually doing what needs to be done and having time To fulfill the life ambitions, that often lie at the core of why they are entrepreneurs in the first place, we will very soon step into today's simple practice.

And I call this the hurry importance matrix. This is the matrix that helps you sort between what's urgent and what's important. And we tend to think that urgent is important, but it's not the same. We have two different words for a reason. And this is what we are into looting. scribbling down to do lists is a great way of sorting out what's going on and what you need to spend your day on.

But sometimes that's just not enough. You know, when you follow these lists to the point, and still you discover when you're doing your long term evaluation that you didn't follow up on goal set, and you missed out on fulfilling tasks that would have given long term benefits. Recognize that that's when you know, your mind is fooling you. We tend to have a specialized for what needs to be done in a hurry. What seems urgent, extinguishing the fire always comes first. But let's challenge that a bit.

What if it doesn't really matter if that old house burns down, or if there's actually just a lot of smoke and no fire. The hurry importance matrix helps you choose wisely between what to actually put on that to do list for tomorrow. And what we need once again, a piece of paper, draw a line in the middle of the paper from top to bottom. This is the importance line. This is the border between what is important and what's less important. And to the left, you write a plus to the right to write a minus, like plus four, this is really important minus four, this is not as important.

And that same piece of paper, a new line in the middle from the left To the right to draw line. Got it. This is the hurry line. This is the border of urgency. And on top of the paper you have what really needs to be done in a hurry. And on the bottom of the paper you have what can wait.

It's not really urgent, it doesn't have to happen now. Right? You now have a Foursquare drawing on your paper. The bottom down line is importance. The left to right line is urgency. How much of a hurry is there now plays your two dues one by one in the correct square.

See the difference between an ordinary to do list and this on an ordinary to do list you usually write them top to bottom quite often in the way they come at the top of your head. You saw them, hear everything you need to do put it in the right square. Some of them are urgent, some are not. Some are important, some feel less important. This means that top to the left is the square that needs to be done in a hurry. And that is important.

Bottom Right square is actually neither important nor needs to be done in a hurry, right might still be something that you should do have promised to do or want to do. So that doesn't mean it's unnecessary. And when you are done, it will be a bit easier to prioritize. You can make sure that tomorrow's list contains at least one of those important but doesn't have to happen today things in the long run they are often the defining factors. And you might when time gets tight, want to drop one or two of those need to happen now, if it is to happen, but it's not really important. What would happen if you didn't you will lose some Otherwise, they wouldn't have been on your list at all.

But it's easy. It's important enough to keep you from doing what really makes a difference. Or from going home to spend some time with family, or have time to go for a run or whatever you feel like. Got it. sorting it in these core squares helps you to really decide what to do and make sure you always do some of those. highly important, but not really has to happen in a hurry.
