The fifth and final lesson I've learned from working with entrepreneurs for more than 10 years now, is it's really important to keep your own development a high priority. entrepreneurs who lack down on their own development aren't the really successful ones. Those who I see who I work with, who are really, really successful, they keep an eye on their own development. And as you can see through this class, the common traits of the entrepreneur is also the common challenges. The ability to think outside the box sometimes needs to be balanced with a self build framework in order to be efficient and clear. Goals, methods and mindset needs to change and develop as the company does.

In order for the entrepreneurship to be flourishing. The ability to adapt to circumstances and find a way forward is what creates the entrepreneur and to use some of that ality in your own game is a really good idea. After all, if you are the center, and you make the wheel spin, why not make sure the center of the expense easy. And so my fifth and final tip is keep your own development a high priority. It's hard to stretch out of your boundaries. And as entrepreneurs, you need to be able to stretch way out of the box.

You need to find what's hidden. You need to learn the things you didn't know you missed. And you need to train the things you didn't think you'd dare do at all. You need to be more and more of yourself everyday. need to put things in there that you didn't know you had to do to take things out there that you thought were inevitable. keep developing.

Don't do this at chance. Make a plan for your own development. You know, you make plans for all kinds of development. Make one for your own development to short term And long term, look at what you are lacking and add a bit of that. But most of all, look at what you're really brilliant at and develop that further. That is what gives you the competitive power.

Imagine yourself as an Olympic sports athlete, whatever is your Olympic event of choice, you and your fellow country representatives have some things in common. You all had to spend time building shape and fitness, having the strength to carry out the game and the oxygen catching ability to perform when it matters. You need to keep track of your diet and know what brings energy to all spent a lot of time on similar things. But you also each and every one of you have your own special training program. If your talent is to run long distances, you won't perform better in your heat because you spent a lot of training time jumping high. That's not a competitive space.

Don't waste time on it. As an entrepreneur, what is your competitors base, develop that into excellence and keep the basics in line with your level. An Olympic athlete, no matter what kind of sport is more up to date with diets, physics and training of all kinds than the average visitor to my local gym, and definitely a lot more than me. And they should be. That's their profession. But I'm a lot more updated on psychology, motivational forces, entrepreneurship, research, and board work then most of the people around me, and probably a lot more than the guy focusing on sports, because that's my profession.

That's where my focus is, and that is my competitive arena. Nothing is more right than the other. Just find your talent and go for it. And here's today's simple practice, creating a development plan that you will actually follow through and benefit from. Sounds easy, but it's more tricky than you think. Lots and lots of plants are made lots of money.

Lots of lists and circles and forms and shapes and plants are done, and then put in a drawer. And for some reason, it doesn't really happen. We're gonna make it happen. Ready? You remember the why from previous lessons. He has some way of putting this to work, you can make a list of things you can see you need to develop in yourself based on the challenges you face and the opportunities around you.

What is it that you want to learn or need to learn right now and in the coming one or two years? Got it? Now, ask yourself why. Why is it important? What will it give? Now pick one really important that you need and two that you want.

And then put the rest of them below. Gotta list one that you really need to that you want. Those are the top three and the rest of them in the list. To now, decide what you should do and how often to practice this. Attend a class, read a book, listen to lectures, practice doing it. Whatever you think serves you the best form an action out of each and every one of them.

Something you can do and decide how often you need to do it. Right next to it how often and then you can evaluate yourself daily. Did you or did you not write and some of them you will write that you need to do daily and then it's easy. Did you do it or did you not? And if this was one of those, I can do it once a week. Then when you do your daily evaluation, you get zero point until you have done it and then one point each day for the rest of the week as it is done.

Now what you do is for the top three on your worksheet Give yourself two points, because these are the ones that you really needed. Remember, first one really needed. And the second two, you want them to really want them. And to give yourself double scores for doing what you really want is giving yourself some credit for doing the things you want to do. And this brings motivation. And then for the rest of the list one point, set a minimum score of the week.

You know yourself how many things you have on your list, set a minimum score of how many points you expect to reach in a week, and then add just one point or two. Unless you are one of these really competitive that think you will have full scores every week. Then you can deduce some set a realistic minimum score of the week. And then reward yourself each time you hit that score. What's your reward? In the materials attached to the class, you will find a ready made worksheet where you can simply fill in your own actions.

Or you can have it as a model and do your own worksheet. Have fun and good luck.
