Hello friends, this is Raul. Welcome to my session. In today's session, we will learn about sketches in creo. Okay, so before starting any new part or new skates in creo we have to first create a working directory tree is a folder where you can save all your data or your sketches, or all your parts, all your designs. So create a working directory, we have to select File and then manifestations and then select working directory. Here you have to choose the path where you have to create a working directory and select the folder if it is already there.

So in my case, I have already a folder called sketch. I'm sitting it and then click OK. So this is your working directory. So whenever you save anything now it will be saved in that directory. Okay, so now let's start with this page. Start the new skate, create new this new window appears here to select all skates.

The default option was art. But this we are going to learn later. Because to create a part, we need to first learn how to create the sketches. So let's start with the sketch the name tab, you have to do the name of your sketch right and then click OK I'm getting an error because the sketch one is already there. So I create the new name for sketch two. Then click OK. Now I'm inside the sketch can see the different commands like lined tangle circle are indeed played chamfer and in the constraints command, editing commands constraint commands dimension commands, we will learn step by step each and everything.

Okay. So let's start how to create the line first. Select on the line with the left mouse button click this way you can grade nine you can keep drawing the lines as you want. But to stop you have to click on the middle mouse button. So here I'm stopped. And to come out of the command, you have to click the middle mouse button.

So now I'm out of the command. Okay, this way you can create the lines. I'm deleting this everything so it was easy to create line twice hope you understood this then rectangle, cylindrical man. You are inside the command now click with the left mouse button, you can draw the rectangle and to come out of the tangle double double click the middle mouse button to select the center and select the radius or the diameter circle Double click with a mouse button to go out of the command. Then arc. Start point, pinpoint and define a start point in point.

Start point in point define these ways you can create our click middle mouse button two times you are out of the command select the window and with the delete button delete This way you can create arc ellipse. This ellipse you might not be using a lot of times maybe there are rare cases, you have to use this command spline continuous arc can define it as you want to stop to come out on the command line inline There are two types only Line chair and line tangent to line chain, we have seen let's see what is line tangent. So, for that I have to draw two circles. I will select line tangent, first circle and then second circle. So the line which I have drawn is tangent to these two circles. So I don't need to use another constraint to make it tangents it is automatically tangent.

I will draw it again. can see this t it says So how I'm doing this click Control the middle mouse button you can do it zoom in, zoom out to control middle mouse button and drag and drag out and to move Shift button and the middle mouse button and then drag the mouse you can try control middle mouse button to zoom in zoom out and middle mouse button to move okay so we were The line command hope you understood this. So, there are two types of the line line chain and line tangent. The tangle the simple corner rectangle, slanted rectangle, center tangle parallelogram. So we have seen the corner rectangle before. Now we can see the slanted angle.

So, this is slanted one at any angle as you require then center rectangle Select the center and then select how you want to create it. These are easy commands, but you have to practice during circle as well. We have first seen the center endpoint. Then there is another type like concentric, three point and tangent. So you know concentric, so for concentric we first need one circle And then we select the concept of command. Click that you can keep drawing it until you stop or come out of the command with the mouse button control plus middle mouse button to zoom in zoom out.

Yeah, this option screen. So, my feature or my ski is anywhere on the screen and select Fit to Screen or repeat. There it is exactly at the center and it fits to the screen select the window The next one is three points. First point, second point, and the third point. Draw the first, second, third second demos button and the Ctrl T to zoom in zoom out. So the last option is three tangents.

So three times that means it will be tangent to the three lines or three and other curves. All circles depend upon the feature there. I just got three lines Let the tangent circle first line. So my circle is these three lines so delete these three circles select the tiniest circle, first circle the second circle See in this case as well, it is still tangent. We call them as constant we learn constant as well. So first we will learn all the basic sketching tools line dangling a circle all the types.

Line and chain line in tangent in the tangle, corner rectangle, slanted rectangle, center tangle parallelogram Circle center endpoint on say, three point tangent. So, now we come to arc. arc as well, there are three point arc, center and as arc, tangent are concentric, arc and conical, so we have seen it three point arc, your seat again, so we have to select three points, first, second, and third, first, second, and third, first, second, and third most button Now let's see the another option that is centered on Ah, so in this case, you have to select the center of that arc. And then first start point. And then at the start in point, center, point, and in point, center, third point in point, center, point and point, minimize button to come out of the command. The third option is three tangent.

Tangent means tangent to three entities, we call them as entities. So I'll draw a lines sealift command still it is tangent. If you extend this line you see this tangent There's dog circles circle the circle. No, I will draw an arc tangent to the circles. Okay. I hope you understood this.

So let's learn the next option. In the argument there was concentric arc so as to concentric circle, we need the arc first. We didn't select concentric our command select our target input, an input and input so you are in the command until you click the middle mouse button. No finish it I click the middle mouse button. These are concentric arcs still inside the command. So to come out of the command demos button again.

So my general practice is when I draw a line, or any command I just clicked, I just double click middle mouse button. So I'm directly outside the command double click middle mouse button we'll call it MMB middle mouse button. jump to the next option that is unique. So, as I said for the ellipse, this may not be useful, but it's good to understand it. So, the next is in leafs we are already done with X's aids loops defining the axes in the next one is center and axes ellipse center and Excess excess printer and annual return with the splice. So we learn the basic drawing tools like line, tangle circle, arc, lip spline.

All the types of line, line chain line tangent, corner, angle, slanted angle, center rectangle, parallelogram. Circle, center and point, concentric, three point, tangent in arc three point and tangent, center and AIDS, three tangent, concentric and Corey any live See Cindy lips, center and access ellipse and displaying. So this is all for this session. You can practice these by your own and then in the next session we'll learn about fillets temper, ticks, offset thickness palettes centering point and coordinates. Then we are done with the sketching tools. hope you understood this.

Thank you. Bye this session I hope you got a clear idea about the sketching tools. Thank you and have a nice day
