The Art of speaking, yes, unfortunately or fortunately, that is not to speak. The nice thing about doing this public speaking course is you put all this stuff together and it really, really works and it does and these are the things that I use to be able to communicate correctly and be successful in what I do and that is communicating a message to the people that I have the opportunity of serving. So number one is your breathing. As we've discussed in other modules, his breathing needs to be from 100% Look how it looks off to mark close. If I'm not using hundred percent, look at everything changes. Even my jacket doesn't sit properly When I'm sitting and just the curvature of my body, but if I'm standing like this, look at the difference.

Okay? So breathing from hundred percent, down to 70 and back up to 100. And the reason why we do that besides keeping our posture straight, and our lungs in the place that we need them to be, it helps us to play with our voice so we don't run out of a having a long conversation. So if we're going to do something like supercalifragilistic expialidocious, even though the sound of it is simply quite atrocious, when I'm going to communicate something that is of mathematical proportions, we're talking about facts. I will do it like this supercalifragilistic expialidocious Even though the sound of it is simply quite atrocious. When I'm talking about people and I'm telling a story, it will be super color, frigid lipstick expialidocious even though the sound of it is simply quite atrocious, but have an accent to AK, which is absolutely lovely, get your accents, right.

And then if I want to inspire you, I'm going to use one tool that is really, really good. Do you know what that tool is? Could you possibly in this world of over 7 billion people, pick somebody that uses this tool to the best of their ability now, it's quite freaky if you're going to be engineering, radio, when somebody uses this tool, it kind of structure hot, especially if the newsreader goes in a reading reading and they do it. Guess what it is? Hopefully by now you've got it. Yes, it's the pause.

As you see, I've been pausing. So now I'm going to tell a story and I want to get people into the story. I'm going to use different runs All speeds have sentences. Let me see if I can pick a story. What speed sports? What story?

Can I tell you? How's this the reason why I'm doing this for you because I didn't have this for me. I had this friend, who at the time was just an acquaintance, but became a very good friend of mine and a person in my life that impacted me so much that I do what I do today, because of that person. Now, on the eve of a fashion show that I was doing, I put together fashion shows and we did these productions with schools and corporates and all that kind of stuff. And what happened is, she came to me after the show, and she said, Shawn, that is one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life. And I was kind of out we put a lot of effort in my team and I put a lot of effort in and she said, but I just want to tell you one thing.

What do you do, please, please don't ever speak in public today. Peggy, you are the most pathetic public speaker that I've ever heard. Now that's pretty crazy. Because in that, how do you think I felt? It was really sold. I didn't see it coming.

My biggest concern was that I had spoken so many times in front of people, and they love the shows. But when I was on stage, it just didn't work. So what did it do for me? It got me to a place where i is Sean Khaled had to go learn if I wanted to. I had to learn to pay the price. If I wanted to know, I had to go and learn how to do public speaking.

I'm a competent communicator. After a long time of speaking massively in about 1015 years, I went and did Toastmasters. And when I walked in the door, the lady the chairperson of Toastmasters said What on earth are you doing here? I have basically said I'm here to learn the art of speaking. Your pauses, your quick sentences, you're staring off into the distance. absorbing the moment before you give it away, becomes an art.

Three blind mice, Three blind mice. See how they run to see how they run. They all ran off to the farmer's wife, Who actually cut off the tails with a coffee knife. Three blind mice. It is an art practice that often make sure you get your breathing your pauses, your articulation, put it all together. And monami Manjushri you become the artist of z speaking till next time The bow
