Hey guys, welcome to class 805 limits on deliverance. So in this class we're gonna look at the reckoning and the destruction of illusions. This is great in a lot. So what happens in a reckoning? So in a reckoning in life, we're constantly in the trap. That sense of the cage starts to fall apart.

So we don't feel safe. We don't have security, we don't have any control over the sense of ownership or possession of what's going on in our life and our status is called into question. So that's those five things right there. And our fears become reality. That we're wrong, that we're a failure, that were not accepted that we're alone. All those fees are Look that starts becoming reality.

And adversity isn't just impacting us anymore. It's actually destroying us. And we have no choice but to face it. And it can, it's going to transform our life basically, either for worse or for good. And so these are some of the things that can happen in a reckoning, suddenly you've got no money. So no, you're at a job.

Maybe your savings get wiped out. Maybe your credit card debt is you can't service it anymore, or the mortgage. She can't pay it off anymore. You're gonna lose your home, this kind of thing. Your relationships are in crisis or they end so in this video sort of breakout, maybe refik sometimes going on family, it could even be sometimes it's a death in the family and it creates a reckoning, all these things these issues that have been going on, come to the surface because someone's dying. Before with money, you know, suddenly you're out of work it Korea, a junior company goes bankrupt maybe or your career and something happens, it ends your career.

You get fired. And suddenly this kind of thing. Could be that you haven't seen some major health issues come on. So that could be like a really serious diagnosis. That's going to impact the rest of your life, all the other areas of your life that is Sirius XM Sit on maybe. So this is something that comes up for some of my clients, sometimes amazing people that have all bounced back from a reckoning in their health.

And the last one is your sexuality is questioned, possibly ridiculed. So this could be, you know, like, the way you behave in your sexuality or sex comes back to, to get you some kind of thing that's a little bit in the me to movement. But it could also be you know, your sexuality is is you know, is out of especially like if you're sexualities and yeah, Dean traditional It's not something that's easily accepted by your family or your friends or your community or your work even sexuality is kind of comes out as questioned and threatens everyone and the main sin and you can lose your job or a relationship. These kind of things gonna happen. And so reckonings it's a very interesting time of our life because either you're gonna transform or you're gonna be destroyed and are in a reckoning alive as you know, we'll crash and burn a reckoning demands for us to reevaluate our life.

It shows us what isn't working. It's a it's an incredibly can be an incredibly painful experience. But the flipside is, it's a fresh thought and they can lead to bigger and better experiences of life and who we are. And if you follow Joseph Campbell he talks about the hero's journey. And this is the point in the story. The reckoning happens very early on.

They call it the call to adventure. Just kind of like the end of the first act, the call to adventure has happened and basically this this, they say yes, and then suddenly there's no turning back. So it's a really interesting time. And a lot. Most of us will vary through some kind of reckoning in our life at some point. And, you know, I've seen people move here recommend reckonings And bounce back really quickly.

And I've seen other people kind of getting chewed up by it and they never actually really recovered from them. You know, just to share one interesting example that really spoke to me was that Richard Branson, the guy that created Virgin Records, in the 60s, he was a peace loving hippie. He loved music, opened a record store, struggled to make ends meet, figured out a way to not pay the import taxes on the records he was bringing into the country. And eventually he got caught. And he had a huge tax bill at the time. And basically, he wasn't gonna be able to pay it and amend that he was gonna go to jail.

And the only way out, he realized was he had to open within a year he had a year. Pay this bill. He figured if he opened one new store a month in each major city in the UK, he could start making enough money to pay his tax bill. And that's what he did. This really focused for that year, open 12 stores paid his tax bill. And suddenly he had one of the biggest music changes in the UK.

And that's what created his, this this new era in his life from being peace loving, dope, smoking hippie to eventually becoming a massive billionaire. So this all leads us somewhere if we know what to do, and that is the unraveling of the labyrinth. So I want to talk about that in our next class. So this is really important stuff coming up. So check it out.
