Welcome, everybody. Introduction to router configuration wise, what are you talking about? This is an IP version four course. But you know me, I want to give you a little bit more. All right, basic, just basic basic stuff, okay? Anything basic router config admin config show you.

Okay, then we got to get into the interface. That's how we put the IP addresses on there. All right, this is where your planning comes in. And then we're going to talk about a private IP addresses versus public IP addresses. All right, the basic router configs are going to be simple just administrative commands, I just want you to know that it's going to be quick. I'm just going to go run through it real quick so you can see what it's all about.

Not a big deal. All right, the interfaces will take a little bit more time because you know you have a serial interface or a Fast Ethernet interface. So you need to know the differences in your commands that we can put in there. I will be putting in an IP address in the description and a clock rate. All right, and then on Private versus public, just showing you the ranges are part of your dresses. And again, we'll elaborate a little bit more on what each one is.
