There are different Styles and Types of Knives from different makers and countries.  Let's deep dive into each.

1.On the Types of Knives and see the different handles and structure of each. 
2. On the Styles of Knives, you will find a variety of knives categorized according to their usage. There is also a different thickness and flexibility on some knives particularly the boning knife for meat is steady, whereas the fillet knife is flexible and perfect for fish. Even though they look similar, they are not to be interchanged. There are still many different types but those are the most common. 
3. The difference between Japanese and European knives. This PDF will assist you to ultimately make a choice best suiting your needs.
You do not need to have all these. At least not yet. In the next lesson, we will learn which ones you really need. Hold off purchasing any knives until you complete this Module.
