Welcome to the second module of the FSMA Masterclass! This module discusses the requirements in relation to the Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCHF) and the Preventive Controls for Animal Food (PCAF), with two exceptions: all details pertaining to Supplier Quality Management are included in Module 4 and all details pertaining to Intentional Adulteration and Food Defense are included in Module 3. There are five lessons in this module: 1. The first lesson is the introduction and overview of the two rules and contains a video of approximately 8 minutes. 2. The focus of the second lesson is the changes relating the the current Good Manufacturing Practices and this lesson contains a video of 12 minutes. 3. Hazard Analysis & Preventive Controls (HARCP) is discussed in detail in lesson three, including a video of 23 minutes. 4. Recall Management as part of the PCHF and PCAF rules is presented in a video of 11 minutes as part of lesson 4. 5. The final lesson of this module is on Record Keeping and Calibration and contains a video of approximately 10 minutes. Make sure you update the Detailed Implementation Plan Excel file which you downloaded as part of the first module as well, either at the end of each lesson or at the end of this module.
