DESCRIPTION: In recent years, climate change has had an immense effect on the shifting of species from their natural habitat. A compounding hypothesis is that human disturbance is also playing a part in the geographical shift of species from their natural habitat. The results of a study looking at tree number at a certain elevation and the elevational shift of different species is shown below:
