So congratulations, you've made it to the final video in this course. And I hope that over the last several sections and videos, whether it was equipment to setting up to all the different scenarios you can come across when filming a game, that you now are ready to go and shoot games like a pro. I wanted to take a few minutes and quickly recap the major points we've discussed over these videos to be sure that they're in your head so that when you go out these are the things you're thinking about, and then you can do a game properly. First, we want to arrive early and be prepared. The second thing we want to be sure of is to set our tripod up perfectly. And of course, that means practicing your motions beforehand.

Practice shooting what's going on in the field and make sure you have your movement down. Number three is in game editing. Remember, we're only going to roll on things that are important. We're not going to cut plays off, we're going to eliminate things like cheerleaders and crowd and we're going to make sure that we deliver a perfect final product without having to make any adjustments to it after the fact number four remember the most important rule we want to see as many players in the shot as possible. without losing detail, that means we want to get as close as we can establishing all 22 players first but then pushing in to give us the best chance to see what's going on at the line of scrimmage. Number five, we want to understand when to zoom and we want to master our ability to do it smoothly.

This will allow us to get to the right framing during any play without drawing attention to the camera work. And number six, be mindful of the scoreboard, penalties and anything that helps communicate information. And don't forget to shoot a proper ending. Of course, within those six topics, there are a lot of smaller takeaways that we learned throughout the course. But those are the major points I think that you can emphasize as you show up for a game to shoot it. Now the question that people always ask me, What do I do with the footage once I'm finished with the game once I'm done shooting it, and the answer kind of varies depending on the purpose of why you're shooting it and who you're shooting it for.

If you're shooting for a coaching staff, you may be able to just go right into the coach's office and upload it to one of their pieces of software. If you're a professional videographer or parent, you can upload it as well. There are services like huddle crossover that breakdown game footage. Some coaches or parents want a DVD or even a blu ray. And if you have the ability to do that, at your home or studio, you can burn a DVD or a blu ray. So there are several options, I would recommend making a backup or not deleting the card until you know that it's securely on a DVD or online.

So it just depends on who you're shooting for and what the outcome is and that you have to determine with the people that you're working for or working with. Okay, and to sum up the course I just want to let you know that I really enjoy teaching this and I'll be very happy to answer any questions that you have. As you move forward in your videography. There's a comment section below, you can post questions there. I'll try to answer those you can also go to our social media on Facebook where it shoot better sports video, and if you leave a post there, I can try to answer that as well. And finally, I have a special consulting offer.

If you're interested in that you might have seen it when you first purchased the course this gives you an opportunity to upload footage to me have me watch it and critique it and then go one on one with you to give you the finer points of what you might be doing wrong. Right or wrong Did you can get even better. It's a terrific value if you're interested. So again, thank you so much for spending all this time with me for watching all these modules and my sincere hope is that you become a better sports videographer with what I've had to show you in these lessons. Thanks again
