Let me give you a little bit of information about myself. My name is Anza. And on dia, many people just call me and Z. In fact, that's my eBay username and Z. By the way, my last name come from the Basque Country in Spain. It's a one of a kind name really long.

It has 12 letters, and really hard to pronounce. But I've simplified it for you Zerrin on BIA. I also like it because it's at the end of the alphabet. I'm a retired us PTA teacher teaching tennis pro, and I taught for over 35 years, so I have lots of experience teaching. I taught all levels of tennis players from beginning PCs, ages four and five to senior citizens to national champions, and I'm very proud of the tennis team that I coached at Redwood High School in Marin County. They weren't outstanding team for many years like coached over 20 years there.

I've been an eBay education specialist trained by eBay and taught many eBay University classes for years until that program ended. So I thought why not take my teaching to the online course world? So here I am. I've been on eBay since July 1998. And I'm a top rated power seller. I've sold anything you can think of on eBay, cowboy hats, DVD players, Disney pins, household items, collectibles, antiques, artwork, autographs, bathing suits, shoes, you name it, I've sold it.

I like to say if I can put it in a box. I can sell it on eBay. I have one particular niche that a lot of people remember me by. I sell dead tennis balls. Since I have a connection to the tennis world. I have an endless supply of old tennis balls that no longer can be used in match play, or on the teaching court.

So I box up all the balls in different amounts 1025 50 100 and sell them to mostly dog owners on eBay. It seems like I sell at least a box a day. Sometimes old folks homes buy them for the bottom of the walkers of their senior citizens there. And sometimes classroom teachers buy them for the bottom of the chairs so the kids don't scoot around and make a lot of noise. But on eBay, I found a place to recycle and to repurpose things that no longer having original use. That's one of the beauties of eBay.

Now that's what I call a specific niche. What do you have in your life that you have a lot of that you could sell over and over again? Think about it. I have a background in photography, and moviemaking and I've had a Mac computer since 1984. So I loved Technology. Another interesting hobby of mine is that I'm a huge Barbra Streisand fan.

I've seen her about a dozen times in concert, and I've collected books and magazines and records for years and years. I took all my extra memorabilia and started the Isle of Barbara catalog where I would sell to Streisand fans around the world. This was pre eBay days, so I have experience in shipping to everywhere. I even sold the Barbara herself. Well actually her production company bought some movie stills for me. Another famous customer of mine was Rosie O'Donnell, the talk show host.

She is also a huge Barbra Streisand fan, and her production company bought some Barbara champagne from me and my catalog. The day before Barbara appeared on her talk show back in the 90s. They opened the bottle and added a little peach juice at the bottom and they drink it on air. That was sort of fun. That's a little bit about myself. So if you have particular hobbies, whether it's tennis or collecting Barbra Streisand, think about the stuff that you have in your house that you have extras of and that you are an expert in.

That may give you an idea of what you want to sell on eBay.
