See, we have talked many times before that the reason that we are here the reason that this initiative has been initiated is because of the stakeholder, some stakeholder, he thought of this idea he dreamt of something for which now he is trusting you to make it a reality he is expecting you that you will understand the value and the final result and then you will deliver it something he dreamt of something he thought of that would add value to his organization, something nice thing that in the future will give the benefit to the organization. Now, he is giving this baby of his into your hands to deliver. So this is that is why we need to understand the value of this baby the value of this project, the word whatever in the mind of the state. Colder so that we can deliver it better. And the only way to understand the mind of the stakeholder is to build up a rapport and do understand the stakeholder that Where is he going?

What kind of personality he is, is what kind of an important role that he's playing within an organization. What is his interest in the project, he wants to be succeeded, he wanted to make it fail. He is resistance, all these things you need to understand and that is the only way that we were able to deliver the project and deliver as per the expectation of the stakeholder. So have you how many times we have found ourselves working very hard on the project, and then suddenly, when the goal is pretty close, or the major milestone is a very close, we hit the walls or I would say buffers. Simply because we have missed some powerful manager or influencer or stakeholder who would say I don't understand it. I don't mean it.

I don't trust it, it will not go live. And I can give you the example from our project. I mean the way we went or everything, all the train the trainer's you at the society's CRP, everything went pretty well. And at the end, suddenly, one of the stakeholder came in, although we never forget him, and we, we kept trying to engage him but he just wanted to stay away and then he suddenly came in, and he put it that if we go live on this project, this will happen. That will happen. Although we went live on the same day, the way we planned it, but what he did is for this two days, the break this uncertainity The board is going to happen and secondly, What if you asked me what he has done is he wanted to save himself.

So, he put up everything in writing that if this will happen, it is because of this will happen and because of this. So, you this is take hold these are stakeholders and I am not complaining about it and we should not be complaining about our stakeholder they are the they are our partners. So, they are our partner in the project we are delivering a project for them. So, we need to understand and we need to answer and this is what we kept, we kept we did for two days answering his query answering his questions and then somebody at the top decided Yes, go ahead. So, the thing is something we need to be very careful when we are working actually on the project. So now as we have mentioned we are because of a stakeholder and we need to because this project is we have stakeholder It is better to keep them informed that this is what we are doing.

The reason for information is to first of all, we want to make sure that he has He, his trust stays with us he can keep on trusting us that he has we are delivering something. Secondly, because he initially is thought of this idea and he thought that what is going to happen and what should be the final verdict and what should we do? So, if you keep showing him and keep informing him, you will get a good feedback and if there is any time you are losing your path or you are going in a way that is not going to deliver that that is not something you know not in his mind, he will able to correct so, induce stabilizers can be individual group or organization affected be affected, or perceived to be affected. So, these are stakeholders. Project Management is about knowing your audience then manage their interest and expectation it is understanding your stakeholder.

Know Who is the stakeholder Don't miss this stakeholder register will remain with you throughout the project lifecycle, no stakeholders, small and bad. You need to write it the way you We'll write the story risk and the way you will be writing the requirement of requirement, First, identify and log it. And then we will see if that stakeholder makes sense for us. Is he a powerful stakeholder? Or is he not powerful stakeholder? Does he ever interest or not?

Does he fulfill all the criteria that we have identified to prioritize a stakeholder to keep to focus on them that is the second step. First and foremost, I need to know who are my stakeholders, whatever they be, and so that I can work on it. So it is about identify the people group or organizations that could be impacted or impacted by it is easy, because it is human side, you are doing the same thing communication with the human, but still complex because you don't want to miss the silent stakeholders. You don't want to miss the stakeholders which are sitting at the top and they are showing that they are not interested but they have a direct mentor. So some of the important stakeholders can be the sponsor, the one who's got In the project, then the customer who is actually facing the will be the affected party when you will bring the chain.

The managers, the program managers, your team, decision makers, steering committee, PMO, government organizations, NGOs union, these are some of the stakeholders that you may have on your project. Some other stakeholders, like the way that we have said is about end users and your targeted so through me through media. See, media when we say in this world when everything is green, and I can give you an example for the North Dakota, Dakota pipeline, it makes all business sense, but it does not make a union or green sense. So unions media, other NGOs like this can create a habit for you project. So you have to be careful that when you are dealing with your project, which is of a public interest, or which has a public identification, which has a public impact, make sure that you identify them. And you also try to work with them to bridge the gap.

So in either case, it is ideal to grow up with stakeholders by their overall influences over the project duration so that we can categorize them and then we can prioritize them and we know when to involve them, how to involve them based on their interest in the face or maybe based on their authority within a project. So, this is what all the stakeholder management is about. And now let's jump in and go to the next section. Enjoy. Thank you
