Well, usually no company can provide all project related resources whether human or physical. From in house, they have to buy something from the outside which means they might be going for resources they might be going for equipment, facilities material, all these things that you want from third party will go through this knowledge area, which is called procurement, trainings, equipments, consultancy, other goods and services everything that is something that you as a prop that your organization requires, and you cannot produce in house is what you will be buying and this is what you will be with with this is what all will be going through this knowledge area. It is about contracts, purchase orders, Memorandum of articles remember memoranda of understanding Memorandum of agreements internal internal service level SLS all these will be done as part of the this knowledge area, what goods and what services do we need to purchase and from which marketplace and what we can produce and what we needs to be done in our overseas and local all this needs to be planned?

Yeah. The typically question is making or buying is that how we want to generate the planning of the procurement. So, if we take a decision that we need to buy, we have to start working on the planning of the procurement, we have to make sure that the procurement lead times are considered you need to make sure the specifications are considered budgets are considered supplies are considered all the things this is one of the knowledge area where you will be using a lot of organization policies and you will be governed by them. You might not able to influence them at all. This is as I told you, When we were doing the resources, there are the two areas IE resources, specifically human resources and procurement where organization will definitely take any what you need to do you don't need to do to you don't need to get into the procurement Same is the case you don't need to get into the Human Resources this should they could remain a blackbox for you what is important for us to understand how they are working so that you can integrate with them better in a in a more efficient way.

What kind of information they require from you what kind of ending what kind of results they will produce for you. What are your project requirements, what are because you are not an expert in legal requirements, you are not an expert in contract. You don't need to be you are not going to do it. Maybe some of some part of it as part of the technical specification but going and searching for the suppliers and all this is not your part. So we have cost schedule scope and a triple constraint of the project seen. We'll go To the supplier, because when we will, this will be governed by the work breakdown structure, we will say that this specific component will be pushed for procurement.

Do we need to add this as part of the obergurgl down structure or do we not add we will can't control it or see manage it as part of a black box which means nothing else will be part of our, our internal or our but being constructed, do we have the authority or do we have an agreement with our supplier that we can subcontract and are we going to give them this authority that whether they can subcontract. So, here we will call them. So, this these are this is the area where we will be taking all of these calls. So, they can be contractors. They can be subcontractors, vendors, service providers, suppliers, and The end of the day we should treat them as a part and this is the main basic theme from PMI, we should not be screwing them and they should not be taking undue advantage of us.

It should be a collaborative environment, it should be that we both should be working in the same direction of delivering a project. This knowledge area we'll deal with the planning of a procurement sourcing and acquiring the product or servicing service administrating the contract and tools in order product plan, source, administer, close, plan, source, administer and close. So this is the process that we will be looking at when we are doing the chapter 12 project procurement management. This is the general introduction. We will meet you in the next section. Thank you very much for your time.
