Now it's time to learn the simple steps to implement the use of five by analysis. Let's begin.

Define the problem for which you are trying to identify the root cause. Insert the statement you wish to interrogate. keep on asking why until the team agrees they have reached the root cause or the answer provided does not have a further why not. This might be after four why's or after more than five. Once the root cause has been identified, highlight it, develop a corrective action and assign responsibility for action. Add the date when the action gets completed.
