Stretching helps to IE long gait muscles that are chronically shortened, the muscle fibers actually get stuck in a shortened position when the muscle is used in that position for many hours a day. Basically, the muscles in the front of the gnash and the other sides of the neck as well as the chest and anterior of our arms down into the arms will become tightened will become chronically shortened. When muscles are chronically in a shortened state a contracted state, the connective tissue on top can become shortened as well and less elastic, so limiting our range of motion but also creating pain. creating those hyper tension points those little knots as we call them in the muscles that create and also refer pain to other parts of the body. stretching the muscle can help remind them muscle of its natural length, it will physically release the tension and relieve that sensation of fatigue.

I'm going to show you a few different stretches that specifically target the neck muscles and also muscles that are overly tight. While using computers and mobile devices every day. It's really important that you hold these stretches for at least five long breaths. So slow your breath down. If it feels painful, back off. If you find it hard to concentrate on your breath, then you've gone a little too far into the stretch, pull back a little bit.

It can be very, very mild and you can hold it longer and you'll get the same benefits and results. Take a moment to be with your body and start to become more aware of it. sensations and this will help you in the future the more you get to know your body, the more body awareness, pain awareness, body orientation that you're aware of, the faster you'll be able to auto correct your posture. When you're doing things that are dangerous or painful. Do it with me and see if you can feel the difference. Let's begin.

By using your breath for more deeper awareness will actually relieve pain and the buildup of fatigue that can settle into muscles and joints.
