DESCRIPTION: Oscar Chalupsky was the youngest Springbok, South African national, life-saver in 1979. He is a 12 times World Surfski Champion. His last victory was at the age of 49 years old. He captained the South African kayak team in 1992, reaching the semi-finals in the K-4 1000m event.
From a business perspective, he founded and ran Citadel, a well-known South African investment services company, as well as a very successful kayak company in the USA. He is also a cancer survivor. Oscar has been married for over thirty years and is close with his two adult children. 
In this video, we see an example of a man utterly true to himself without sacrificing respect and admiration for others and the value of teamwork.
