Okay, so stage three of our second step to platform we were talking about connected fluency. So in this lesson, let's put it all together. And I would love to show you two exercises and techniques that will help you keep practicing and keep improving your fluency anywhere you are. And every time you're in contact with English. I love practicing fluency because really, you don't really need a teacher to help you flow. What you need to know is to pay attention to how people are flowing, how they're using their fluency, and how they're connecting their words and set sentences together.

So that first of all, you can understand it. And second of all, you can start doing it and improving your fluency this way. So far, you know how to connect the T's. And this these are a lot of little letters. Could I should i would i try it on and get it away. You probably have been practicing this.

And now it's way easier for you to speak with this piece and this connected right. You also started speaking with small snake sounds, which allows you to connect the SS as well. Good. Now, let me show you a trick that you can do anywhere and everywhere and every time you want that will help you improve your work connection and improve Raise your fluency for this. You need anything written in English. You can take her a book, a magazine, an internet article, a blog, subtitles from a movie, absolutely anything you want.

And you should select only a small paragraph, just a couple of sentences. This is what you're going to do. Let me show you a sentence. I'm going to read a little bit from my book. And then I have it right here, but you can read it from here. Try to read it.

I'll give you some time. Okay, I would really like to know how you feel when you're reading. Do you feel satisfied? Do you feel that you can continue speaking without any unnatural process when you are reading your text? Sometimes when I learn one part that I really like, I get so excited that I can't wait to learn the next slide, and the next and the next until suddenly, I find out that I have already memorized all the song. So now I can practice it anytime, anywhere, and with no need of reading the lyrics.

So do you notice how I'm calling Connecting one word to the other when I'm reading, I am also doing some process. Of course, pauses are important when you're flowing when you're speaking English. But the difference is that these pauses are conscious. I'm doing it at the end of my sentence or after a comma to increase the impact. I'm not doing pauses, because I am reading one word after the other. Do you see the difference?

Good. So also notice how I'm connecting the letters for example, the T I, when I learned one part that I really like that I that I have that I can't wait. It really facilitates how I'm reading. So I don't have to stop say, I learned one part that I really like. part that I really like, good. So this is what you can do with any text to help you improve your fluency.

Let's take this little paragraph again. When you begin to practice, take only the first two or three words from the paragraph. In this case it would be sometimes when I try to connect them and say them, basically like one word one sound, sometimes when I. So instead of saying sometimes when I, sometimes when I, you're training your voice and your mind to really see and hear all the words together, when you can say this easily, sometimes in mind, I'm sorry, sometimes when I you can add two more words. Sometimes when I learn one, sometimes when I learn one Good. Excellent.

From there, you can keep going until you have the complete sentence. Right for example, sometimes when I learn one part that I really like so if this is difficult for you right now, if you keep adding one or two words, like we're seeing right now, soon, you will be able to read the whole sentence effortlessly. So let's try to say it again. Sometimes when I learn one part that I really like, I like that you can keep going, right? You could go with the second line. I get so excited.

The first two I get simple right? I get no add one more. I get sold. Finally, I get so excited, I get so excited. Okay. Now, if you keep practicing like this really word by word in very simple and short paragraphs, it will really help you you will notice a difference of how much better you are flowing and connecting your words when you read.

So and you'll be able to read everything with only the necessary process in your speaking. Good. So let's read it one more time. I'll give you time so you can try to repeat after me reading. Sometimes when I learn one part that I really like I get so excited. I can't wait to learn the next slide.

And the next and the next and the next on to suddenly I find out that I have already memorized all the song. So now I can practice it anytime, anywhere with no need of reading the lyrics. Good. So don't worry if this wasn't perfect. What I'm trying to show you here is that you can always in any situation, every time you're in contact with English, practice and improve your fluency as long as you're conscious about these things. So what I want you to do is start noticing opportunities where you can improve your flow in English.

So next time you're reading an email or a book or an English magazine, or even if you're watching a movie and it has subtitles in English, take 2345 words, simply five words, and practice connecting them more practice how one ending letter of a word connects great with the next letter. And also practice when you should make your process for impact, not for the vision of word after word. Excellent. So now you have a very useful, very effective tool to always help you improve your fluency without the need of a teacher or a school. You can do it yourself anytime you want. I hope you know that by now.

And I hope that you try this. So you get yourself convinced that you can take control of your own English evolution and transformation. We're helping you do that. But the ability, the skill, and the possibility to do that is within you. All right, we're not quite finished yet. I would like to show you now, my special technique, my favorite technique to practice fluency.

This is an exercise that drastically improved the way that I flow in English. And this is an exercise that I have taught to students as well. And all of them have gotten great results. As long as they keep practicing everyday for a few minutes. I want to show you this exercise. So if you have five or 10 minutes of your day to practice this, you will start noticing radical improvements in how you comfortably connect your works.

When you Speaking English. I'm talking about learning our rap song. Now, rap is not my favorite style of music, to be honest, actually, I don't listen to a lot of rap. I think it's so creative and so exciting how people can put a lot of words together and speak them or sing them quickly. And with a sense of rhythm. That's what I found fascinating about rap.

And I also found that if we print the lyrics, and we learn the lyrics of a rap song, it changes everything because it shows you how to easily connect every words together and fit them in a sense of wisdom. Now, you might think that learning a rap song is difficult and you're right More than difficult, it can be time consuming, because usually rap songs are long, and they have a lot of words more than any other kind of song. Right? But we're we're going to do is select only one paragraph, one verse of a rap song. That's our first goal. If you learn one paragraph of a rap song, and repeated 100 times over the next three, four months, it will be so easy for you to speak this paragraph.

And it will make everything else that you say in English way. Here. Let's practice it. One of my favorite rap songs is called cleaned by gorilla. Maybe you've heard gorillas it's a very famous band and the song cleanness would I guess everybody in this world has already heard this song. very catchy.

Very sticky. Once you hear the chorus, you can't forget about it right? but today we'll focus on the first verse. What you should do is look for the song on YouTube or buy the CD or download the song and get the lyrics as well. What you will do is, as we did with the text before, we're going to learn verse by verse, sentence by sentence from the song. Okay, so I would love to help you with the first two or three sentences.

Right? So the song starts like this. Okay, so take a look at the first sentence and try to Reading remember that tapes we have practiced in the previous two lessons. Good. Now let's do it together. Let's take first the first two words and say finally someone finally someone add tumour words.

Finally someone in let me finally someone let me know let's practice the last part out of my pitch out of my cage. Right Of course you could be saying out of my cage, but that doesn't quite sound like rap, right? It's not flowing as we want to flow in rock. So out of my cage. Now let's say together finally someone led me out of my cage. Finally, someone led me out of my cage.

Awesome. So, can you start seeing how it really is possible for you to learn a rap song? It might take some time of course, a lot of lyrics a lot of connections that you need to practice, memorize and do automatically. But if you keep practicing little by little every day, remember no more than 10 minutes every day. So you will have an amazing song to sing. That will give you a lot of pleasure and satisfaction every time you sing it, but also will help everything you say in English.

Good so let's learn one more line. Okay, now you try to read it for yourself. Please Now let's head together. Remember, first take the two or three first words. Time for me. Time for me is nothing is nothing.

Time for me it's nothing. Again, time for me it's nothing costs I'm counting costs, I'm counting knowledge, costs I'm counting knowledge. Good. When you feel ready with these two parts, put them together. And for me is nothing because I'm counting knowledge. You see how easy this can be.

Now, let's put the first two lines that we practice together. Ready? Finally someone let me out of my cage time. For me is nothing because I'm counting no age. Awesome. So as you can see, it doesn't have to be perfect.

I'm a terrible singer and a worst rapper, I have no idea how to run. And if you heard me sing, you would run away. However, I have fun with my voice. I have fun learning these words that learning these lyrics and just experimenting with them and saying them or singing them when I'm in the shower when I'm walking to work when I'm driving when I'm listening to the actual song and when I'm teaching you how to flow better in English. All right. So now you know two techniques and two exercises that you can easily do and practice anywhere for just a couple of minutes and will give you a tremendous boost in your English fluency.

So now you know that when you have picked You can practice connecting the words when you're reading them. And also, you know that learning rap songs is one of the most powerful and effective tools to accelerate and connect your English speech.
