DESCRIPTION: When the fly is added, it is done so separately on each side and then joined together with the seat-seam. The seat-seam and fly are the junction point of the trousers. Make sure your notches at the fly line up and that the fork seams match. Failing to do so will result in the waist seams not matching on the fly side and the waistbands won’t line up at the tip of the seat seam. Remember to take out all of the mark-stitches as you don’t want those sewn into the seam.
