Systematic theology biblical approach. The course is based on the book, systematic theology biblical approach by Dennis and Otniel. lumbee. Contents. introduction, the Bible, Trinity sin, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the church, final events introduction, introduction part one. The word theology comes from the Greek words sales, which means God and logos, which means study.

Those theology is the study of God. Its purpose is to use reason or logic in matters related to God. introduction, part two theology has developed or formed branches to explain the science from different perspectives. There are four main branches, one historical theology, to Biblical theology, three, systematic theology, and for practical theology, interested introduction, part three. Historical theology covers the history of ecclesiastical doctrine or the church creates consoles and theologians that spoke about salvation. biblical theology studies the presence of God in the Bible, which is achieved with the exegetical interpretation, the intention of the original author towards its audience of the Word of God.

Systematic theology is the logical and orderly study of the doctrines of the Christian faith, God sin church. This is the main subject of this book. Lastly, practical theology covers how to put theology into practice, preach about salvation, lead the church, Christian ethics. In other words, it explains how to live the doctrines of the Christian faith. introduction, Part Four. Since we chose the systematic theology branch, we will include a summary on several doctrines of the Christian faith, which we believe are important for Christianity and for ministry.

Each of these doctrines will have a biblical approach. We chose seven and even though we acknowledge that other authors will consider more or less doctrines, we believe that these are essential and they help a person to understand an overview of the contents of systematic theology. One, the Bible to Trinity, three sin for Jesus Christ. Five, the Holy Spirit, six to church and seven final events. The Bible, the Bible, part one, the Bible 66 books Old and New Testaments does not contain the word of God because it is the word of God. Contains means that some sections of the Bible are the Word of God and others are not.

On the contrary by say the Bible is the Word of God, it means that everything from the book of Genesis to the book of Revelation was bread. gasps, breath blow by God of Scripture is breath. Second Timothy 316. We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it. As to a light shining in a dark place onto the day dawns in the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophets own interpretation of things for prophecy never had its origin in the human will.

But prophets, though humans spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit, Second Peter 119 to 20 One, the Bible part two. The purpose of the Scriptures is found again in Second Timothy 316 17. All scripture is God breath. And it's useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. The Bible does not exist only to inform people about God, people and events of the past, present and future. It is a clear purpose which is the salvation of a person's soul.

In other words, it has to do with the formation in Christ, which is why Jesus came to earth. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life, for godliness in his Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him, where he believes in Him is not condemned. But whoever does not believed as condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. JOHN three, six to 18. The Bible part three. For this reason the Bible is the guide for men to be saved by him, living under his will or obedience to Him.

You study the Scriptures dimensionally because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the various scriptures that testify about me, john 539, and the person is not alone with studying and understanding the Bible. The Holy Spirit is right there. But when he the spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth. JOHN 1613 Trinity Trinity part one. The definition of Trinity is three or one.

It comes from the Latin word Trinity does. It is composed of Trina's three, and ronita has one Trinity Part Two Tertullian 160 ac two 220 ac Africa theologian and father of the Christian church, created in the third century to explain the nature of God found in the Holy Scriptures. Then God said, Let us make mankind in our image in our likeness, Genesis 126. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was open, and he saw the Spirit of God the sending like a dove, and alighting on him, in a voice from heaven said, This is my son, whom I love with him I am well pleased Matthew 316 17 therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 2819, four there are three that testified in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one first john five, seven, Trinity, part three.

This explains his nature, three persons and only one God, only one divine nature, three and one And one in three, sin, sin part one. Sin is simply going against what God has established his word. This is disobedience to him. Sin part two. The Bible is clear everywhere about what sin is and all the things that must be avoided to obey God and have a good relationship with him and your neighbor. Here are some examples of the 10 commandments.

You should not murder. You should not commit adultery, you should not steal, you should not give false testimony against your neighbor, Exodus 2013 to 16. These verses also talk about the acts of the flesh that occur when men look away from God and decide to go through the path of sin, hatred, discord, jealousy fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy and drunkenness, orgies and the like. I'll warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God Galatians 520 21 sin Part Three sin was originated in heaven with the character that afterwards became Satan. And Isaiah 14 and aq 28 talk about the origin of the adversary, the devil. Sin part for this the enemy, Satan, already tainted with sin provoke are first fathers in the Garden of Eden for them to sin against God just as they did first with all the angels that rebel, the enemy, one and another ally to go against God.

Adam and Eve sinned by the so being God and eating the forbidden tree. That is how men in Harrison forever. This is how the image and likeness of God was affected by sin. Sin created a bridge between God and man, because God is holy sin, Part Five. Genesis three tells about how this image and likeness of God in man was altered by sin. The enemy Satan used a snake as an instrument to speak to Eve and deceiver and confessor made it To this obey God and eat from the tree of science of good and evil.

Man has been damaged in his reasoning and communicating with God and his neighbor and he has been pushed towards work of evil or sin, as ran in Galatians 516 to 23 men has become an enemy of God and his neighbor. Because of this, the bridge between man and God must be repaired. Sin Part Six. man is born with a tendency to sin for the disobedience of the first parents in the Garden of Eden. Man is inclined to sin against God and against his neighbor. That is why the atonement repair the damage that was committed was necessary.

Sin Part Seven. That is why God sent someone sinless to restore the communication that man had lost before sending in the Garden of Eden. The only one who fulfilled this requirement was his son. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in case we might become the righteousness of God, Second Corinthians 521 Sin Part Eight. He sent the second Adam perfect man with a spot of sin, to die for all mankind for the salvation of his tainted so the image of God damage so that he can be forgiven and restore through Jesus. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

JOHN 316 sin part nine, through this faith in this Christ who died and rose again it is that man has been saved, for it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from yourself. It is the gift of God evasions to eight. Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, part one. Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity together with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, part two. The life of Jesus is summarized in his life and work.

This is clear in john one one through 14 in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He wasn't the world. And though the world was made through him, the world didn't recognize him. And he came to that which was his own, but his own dinner receive Him, yet to all who did receive him to those who believe in his name. He gave the right to become children of God, children born out of natural descent nor of human decision or a husband's will but born of God, the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father full of grace and truth.

Jesus Christ, part three. JOHN 316 explains his purpose in the verse, For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jesus Christ, Part Four. Jesus needed to die the only person who never seemed to reestablish the relationship between man and God ultra bison when Adam and Eve disappeared. God, he needed to carry all the sins of the world and die with them so that they could be forgiven and be allowed to go before the presence of God through Jesus Christ, faith in him. Second Corinthians 521, God made him who had no sin to be sin for us.

So then in him we might become the righteousness of God. Sin is the foundation of the barrier with God because He is holy, Isaiah 59 to buy your iniquities have separate you from your God, your sins have hid in his face from you, so that he will not hear Jesus Christ, Part Five. Jesus Christ as mentioned in all the Old Testament, Messianic prophecies until we came and the prophecy was fulfilled, as written in gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and john, telling his life and work as well as his teachings, miracles, death, resurrection, essential and the promise to come back again, for all who believed in Him. Jesus Christ, Part Six, after the Gospels, some books of the New Testament Such as the letters of Paul among others kept talking about his life and work, reassuring the church that he will come back again and will live with her forever.

My father's house has many rooms, if that were not so word I have told you that I'm going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me. They also may be where I am, john 14, two and three. And look, I'm coming soon. My work is with me and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end, Revelation 2212 and 13.

The Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit, part one. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity together with the Father and Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit part two, Mary had Jesus through the Holy Spirit. This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about his mother Mary was placed with Married to Joseph. But before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit Matthew 118 and the angel answer, the Holy Spirit will come on you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God, Luke 135.

And that is how the Son of God was born, holy and stillness, the Holy Spirit, part three. Also, Jesus Christ was invested by the power of the Holy Spirit when he was baptized in water to begin his ministry. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment, heaven was open, and he saw the Spirit of God, the sending like a dove, and aligning on him. Matthew 316, the Holy Spirit, Part Four. In his ministry, he declared that the Holy Spirit was upon him.

He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up and on the seventh day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom, he stood up to read and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. On rolling it, he found the place where it was written, the Spirit of the Lord is on me. Today the Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing, Luke for 16 to 21. The Holy Spirit part five, and before leaving, he told his disciples that he was not going to leave them alone. But we we truly tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away.

The advocate will not come to you. But if I go, I will say him to you, john 16 seven, the Holy Spirit Part Six. He also tells them about the work of the Holy Spirit honored when he comes he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment. JOHN 16 eight. The Holy Spirit Part Seven. When a person accept Jesus as his or her Savior, the Holy Spirit works inside the person for him or her to become holy.

Here's when this person receives the fruit of the Holy Spirit expressed in their character, but the fruit of the Spirit is love. joy, peace, forbearance kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. against such things there is no law Galatians 522 and 23 the Holy Spirit Part Eight. We also know that after Jesus was resurrected from the dead and before he ascended to heaven, He left this command and promised to His disciples. On one occasion while he was eating with them, He gives them this command. Do not leave Jerusalem but wait for the gift my father promise, which you have heard me speak about.

For john baptized with water put in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit, but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes to you. And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. x 1428. The Holy Spirit part nine the father sent the Holy Spirit to approximately 120 brothers and sisters on the day of Pentecost, when the day of Pentecost came, they're all together in one place. So Really a sound like the blowing of a vinyl wind came from heaven and fill the whole house where they were sitting, they saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as a spirit enable them.

X 2124. They were baptized, fill by the Holy Spirit and the initial evidence, as explained above, was them speaking in other languages. The Holy Spirit part 10 after a person is baptized by the Holy Spirit as initial evidence of talking in other tongues, the Holy Spirit bestows gifts as he desires. All these are the work of one and the same spirit, and he distributes them to each one just as he determines First Corinthians 1211. These gifts given by the Holy Spirit appear in Romans 12, six to eight and First Corinthians 12, eight to 10. Some of these gifts are prophecy, teaching, encouragement, meshes or wisdom.

Message of knowledge, faith, healing, miraculous powers, distinguishing between spirits and interpretation of tongues. The purpose of the gifts is building the church. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. First Corinthians 12 seven. And so it is with you, since you are eager for the gifts of the Spirit, try to excel and those that build up the church. First Corinthians 1412.

The church, the church, part one, the word church comes from the Greek word ecclesia, defined as called outside of the church. Part Two. The gatherings in the time of Jesus were organized within a Coliseum to call a meeting or assembly and discuss public matters. The ecclesia was also used to call a meeting with the select group and manage issues within the organization. There were many ecclesia in the time of Jesus, the church, Part Three Jesus also used the word to call his disciples to meetings and not only establish an organization, organized structure, but also to create a living organism, his body. This is the body of Christ led by the head that is Jesus Himself.

First Corinthians 1212, to 31 Ephesians, four seven to 16. In other words, Jesus created an organization and organism in order to establish and spread his kingdom, the kingdom of God of salvation all around the world. The church, Part Four, we can see that Jesus before ascending to heaven, commanded His disciples to not leave Jerusalem, but instead to wait the promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit. On one occasion while he was eating with them, he gave them this command. Do not leave Jerusalem but wait for the gift, my father promise, which you have heard me speak about acts one for the church, Part Five. The church was born on Pentecost and Jerusalem was Baptism fullness of the Holy Spirit, as described in Acts 2124.

When the day of Pentecost came, they're all together in one place. Suddenly, a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as a spirit enable them. The church, Part Six. From the day of Pentecost, when the church was born in a two day after a 2000 years period, there have always been a visible church and invisible church.

The theologian and philosopher St. Augustine of Hippo, leader of the church during the fifth century, said that there is a visible church and an invisible church. The visible church is used as a nominal of name term. It is the church that can be seen and is active or passive in the congregation, flock where it belongs. The visible church is the one Jesus comes to live born again with that stain or wrinkle during the rapture, john three, three to five efficient 527. Only he knows who belongs to this church because there is invisible for us. This is the church that God has saved, and God will take on the rapture, and will live forever and eternity with Him.

The church Part Seven. Lastly, Jesus Christ gave the church a mission. He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned Mark 1615 to 16 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always to the very end of the age. I'm in Matthew 28 1920.

Therefore, the mission of the church commanded by God is to preach for the people to convert to Christ, and then to teach them the sound For them how to live Christianity under the will of God confirmed in His Word. Final events. Final events part one, Matt is tripartite which means composed of three parts man is composite of body, soul and spirit. Final events part two. The soul is the image of God tainted by sin from when Adam and Eve sin in the Garden of Eden. The essence of man is the soul.

It is what makes us think, feel and act. In other words, the intellect the feelings in will lie in the soul. The soul is what we are final events part three. Now there are two interpretations about what happens to the spirit after a person's then final events Part Four. Some believe that when a person dies, the body returns to the earth because it is made of dust and the soul goes to heaven if the person has said to Jesus or otherwise to hell, and the spirit goes with God as written in ecclesiastics 12 7am The does returns to the ground it came from in the spirit of returns to God who gave it final events part five. The other interpretation Rice's about comparing a glass Estes 12, seven, and First Corinthians five five, which says, hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord.

It is evident that the Spirit needs to be saved with the soul as related in his aq 1820. The one who sins is the one who will die. And when Ecclesiastes 12. Seven mentions in the spirit turns to God who gave it a miss that one day the spirit and the soul, plus the body glorify or dishonor, will be in front of God for eternal life or to be judged and then thrown to the lake of fire. Final events Part Six. In other words, since the soul in the spirit, only one substance that is spiritual, there are inseparable.

It is said that the Spirit is the engine of the soul. Animals and plants have souls life by they do not have spirit. When an animal or a plant dies, that is the end there's no eternity for them. They do not have a spirit unlike man, that upon death he saw in spirit go to heaven to live forever with the Father, or the soul in spirit go to the lake of fire for all eternity for not believing in Jesus. For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. JOHN 316 final events Part Seven.

The body is used to express what the person has inside his or her soul, the thoughts and emotions, final events Part Eight. The body is mortal and immortal. As we said before the body will return to the ground ecclesiastics of seven when the person dies, but one day that body will resurrect for life or for death and come out those who have done what is good will rise to live and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. JOHN 529 final events part nine. The soul tied to the spirit will leave the intermediate state paradise or hell, the rich and Lazarus in Luke 1619 to 31 and enter the final state together with the resurrected body, Heaven, there will be joy as reward Jesus Christ preparing rooms for those who love Him as totaling john 14 two and three, like a fire, there will be suffering as punishment, judgment before the great white throne in Revelation 2011 to 15 final events part 10 those who welcome Jesus Christ and we're reborn we'll be with the Lord forever.

First Thessalonians 417 but those who rejected Jesus Christ will be with the devil and his angels in the lake of fire. Matthew 2541 final events part 11 but somewhere not experienced death because they will be taken the rapture pero sia Greek pero sia which means arrived When Jesus Christ returns for his church, listen, I tell you a mystery. We will not asleep but we will all be changed in the flesh in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet, for the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed First Corinthians 1551 and 52. According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive who are left until the coming of the Lord will certainly not proceed those who have fallen asleep, for the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet called God and the dead in Christ will rise first.

After that, we who are still alive and our level will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever First Thessalonians 415 to 17 final events, Part 12 the last book of the Bible revelation show By the end a conversation of promise and wait between Jesus and His Bride, his church. He who testifies to these things says, Yes, I am coming soon. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus, Revelation 2220
