DESCRIPTION: Mindful Balance&trade;Mindful Balance&trade; is a class that you can instruct for individuals who have balance problems. Some class participants may not have balance issues but would like to work on balance techniques before they have any issues. Many individuals are not in the present moment when they experience a fall. They are usually thinking about other things that they have to accomplish during the day. The class would begin with breathing exercises and guided meditation. The goal is to have your clients be present and in the moment during each session. As clients practice the exercises, they should be able to transfer mindful balancing into their everyday lives. (Kade, 2023)
