Second, let us learn how to add a list to an HTML page. The list can be an ordered list, or an unordered list or a description list. Let us see one by one. What is an ordered list? It starts with numbering our alphabets are Roman letters. In case of unordered list it comes with bullet points.

In case of description list, it comes with a tab space no numbers are no bulleting for bullet points. Now, ordered lists how to create an ordered list. For this the root tag is oil ordered list which will have a style tag of DNA. In life you need to specify the list price of this oil has got two attributes type and start type specifies the type of the listing. If you want to start with a number or a Roman letter or an alphabet you need to Use Case starters from which point you want to start like from 10 r from G you are just going to specify that unordered list for unordered list the root tag is ul unordered list, it is also having a child tag the CLA, within each Li You are specifying the list item. And this you will also have got type, the type can be scrapped this car circle.

These are the default values. Basically, when you want to give a type for your list, you are not supposed to use the type directly. You have to use CSS cascading style sheets for specifying the type. If you want to have an image itself as a bullet point, then you have to use CSS. Or if you want to have any other symbol as a bullet point you need to add use CSS for specifying that type. So this is about unordered list.

The next one Description list. Suppose if you are creating as content for your book, you cannot go in for order list or you cannot go in for unordered list, you can use this description list. So have a look over here DLS, the root tag within which every chapter is going to be DT chapter one, chapter two, chapter three, so it is description term. The next one, I want to I mean, first I have a paragraph then I have a list of items. In that scenario, I can go in first description data. Now, let me just show you an example.

I've got DT then I've got dd dd is description data. In this scenario, I have given an overview architectural advantages, they will not come with bullet points, they will come with a tab space. Next, let me come to chapter two in case of chapter two, I don't have individual mistakes them, but I have a paragraph. So what I can do I can do that. DD within which I can have a paragraph, the next a DD can be a single value list item. So if you want to go in for a customized one, it's always better to go in for this description list.

Now, let us go back to sublime. And try this out. I have created a HTML page list demo dot html, I have added oil and you will warrior type equal to A within which I have added the list. Next, you will you will type equal to square within which I have added the list. Now let me save this okay right click open in browser you can see the output A B C D and E are in the form of square. You can see those I want to change this to a number.

I can just specify this as one I can refresh you can see it is giving us 1234 and similarly for square instead of square. I can just give it a So, saving it refresh, it is coming as a circuit Okay. Now what are the next what is the next one DT and I mean dl DT and DD let me add the core benefits and saving to say here again refresh. Now we can see. So this is our first ID description data. This is the second description data.

So this is how you work with ordered lists unordered list and description list. Depending upon your requirements, you can use any of these. Thank you.
