Welcome to the final step and the quick course elevator pitch. Here we'll look at a real elevator pitch and give you a checklist to use as you create your own pitch. Let's get going we're almost done. As we go through the example look for these elements. It's a short story very quickly done. A lot of emotional wow in it.

There's mystery that entices it grabs people's attention. Hey, tell me more. It's partial, just enough, contain some numbers mostly about the potential of what you're about to do. And gives a reason for delivering it to this person such as we want your money, join us, blog about us and so on. Those are the key elements And think about how much of a movie trailer does this example sound like to you as we go through it? Does it contain these three basics?

Well, here's our example. Pretend you're in the elevator and I bump into you and you say, Hey, I'm Hi, I'm and you're getting a little nervous but clear your throat. Calm down, take a breath. Hi, I'm doing a startup that delivers life saving capabilities for those who save lives. It's a large overlooked market ripe for harvesting. Our first product is a game changer that has patentable technology and open market verified customer eagerness and a closely knit core team of professionals experienced with launching bold products into fresh markets.

It's a great core team. We're looking for a seed round from a top angel or venture capitalists like you. Would you like to know more? So I got that I think about in a moment and I say to you, yeah, I'd like to know more. step off the elevator. Let's talk a bit longer.

Now you have three minutes. So you start over, take another breath and begin at the beginning. Our startup pioneer robotics delivers life saving capabilities for those who save lives. Remember, you have this memorized. You're fluent with it. Every 22 seconds the fire department responds to a fire somewhere in the nation in 2008.
