What an easier way to get started learning to play through a song then Happy Birthday. It's familiar and I'm sure you'll be able to put it into action for the next birthday you attend! Actually, playing Happy Birthday with a group of people is very good because it gets you playing in front of people but also there's not too much pressure because if you mess up, everyone knows the song and can just keep on singing! Remember, you don't have to be able to play a song solid to move forward in the course. But just chip away at it if you can :) (Download Happy Birthday PDF from the Introduction section).

A really easy song to learn in the key of A is happy birthday. It can be played in many keys, I normally play it in D. But you have the three main chords that will work in the key of A, you can use the chord chart you see to learn the song. Also, if you go online saying the search engine, Google or YouTube, you might be able to find some versions there that you like. Another song is Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. Just type in the search engine Chasing Cars, guitar chords, and it should give you a link for ultimate guitar.com. Know that where it has he slash G and then what looks like a number sign that the number sign is mean sharp so it'd be E slash G sharp where it says that you can just play an E for now.

Another good song to learn is Every teardrop is a waterfall by Coldplay. So again, type in every teardrop is a waterfall guitar chords, and it should give you a link to ultimate guitar.com. You'll see that ultimate guitar.com is a great place to learn songs from. Now if it shows different chords than A, D and E, it's important to know where the transpose button is on ultimate guitar. And again, if it says D, add nine, then just play D. You can also try checking out YouTube for learning songs. YouTube has become an excellent source for this.

And remember to play a little bit each day or every other day if you can, working on an exercise, both reviewing an old one and starting a new one. Then work little by little learning a song. So congrats on finishing module three. And feel free to head on over to module four to check it out. Some more courts.
