Welcome to the final module of this course, where we will learn the E blues scale and use it to solo or jam over the E 12 bar blues. The blue scale is the minor pentatonic scale with one added note the flat five, which gives it its unique sound. It is one of the most common scales used for riffs and soloing. It is used in numerous rock songs, r&b songs, pop, metal, almost anything and everything will use the blue scale at some point to create a very soulful kind of vibe or an edgy rock sound. A lot of vocal melodies also use the blue scale to create a very soulful sound. So let's head over to the next lesson.
