Alright, so just like the other skills, I'm going to demonstrate to you the blue scale or the E blues scale, just on the sixth string here, the low E string. So don't worry about following along, or trying to play along at all, I'm just going to give you more of a visual representation of what the blues, e blues scale is. So it's very similar to the E minor pentatonic, as I mentioned. So this would be the first note E, G, A, A flat, B, D. I'll do that again. So that kind of shows you linearly how that works. And you'll see here that's called the flat five notes.

B flat there, that's what that's what really gives it that bluesy sound. something to be aware of when you go to solo. Alright, so let's head over to the next lesson and I will show you the blues scale in the first position and I'll get you to follow along then
