The first post-interview activity to do is to reflect on the job interview you just completed. Immediately after your interviews, try to find a coffee shop or some other place where you can take out your laptop, tablet, or even notepad and pen, to gather your thoughts from the interview. If you just finished a phone interview, then capture your thoughts as soon as you hang up the phone. There are many reasons why you should collect your thoughts right after an interview.
Reasons to reflect after an interview include:
To summarize what was discussed
To review the opportunity to determine if you want to pursue it further
To outline any questions or concerns you might have
To identify any key selling points you wish you had discussed in the interview
To rate your performance on the job interview and identify areas of improvement
