A sixth method of follow-up is to make a phone call prior to a second or third round of interviews. While this form of follow-up technique is one of the most important follow-up calls you can make, this is one of the least used by interview candidates. The &ldquo;Before-Interview" follow-up call is when you contact your original interviewer prior to your second or third round of interviews. This is type of follow-up call is appropriate when you had an original interview and that interviewer recommended that you go on to the next step in the hiring process: more interviews.
