Hey welcome back. In this video, I want to talk to you about the Google Keyword Tool and exactly how to use it. So basically, what you want to do is just go to Google, just type in the Google Keyword Tool, see here@adwords.google.com forward slash, four slash keyword tool. You can come here and search for keywords that are really competitive in Google AdWords is their advertising platform. So here you can go and type in your word or phrase, let's say you want to type in you know, lose fat. lose fat fast.

Just come down here and type in this CAPTCHA, and I'm not very good at these so bear with me here. All right, awesome. Okay, so we see here that the keyword lose fat fast, has medium level Competition. Okay, and then 165,000 Global monthly searches. Okay, so that's global, and then you got local monthly, which is in your area. Okay, so it's local.

So what we're really looking for is keywords that have at least 3000 or more searches. Okay, so you can click here on this question mark, click, you're actually on global monthly searches, and you can actually rank by the number of searches. So anything obviously, for these keywords is going to be fine. But here are a bunch of related keywords to lose fat fast. So we say how to lose to lose weight loss, lose weight, loss weight, to lose weight, got a lot of related keywords here. So the Google Keyword Tool is just going to give us a really good idea of what we're looking for.

So what you can do here, just as a shorthand, is you can come in here and you can choose something that's low is good. Pay low competition, that means a lot of people aren't competing for it, but a lot of global monthly searches, okay? So these aren't really that specific how to lose to lose, you're probably not going to use those to target but you want to find words like that. Okay, so let's come down here. How do you lose fat? Okay, it's a question low searches or low competition lots of searches.

Okay, so that basically means a lot of people are searching for it in Google. And you know, not that many people are competing for it. Okay. So I would just focus on the global Okay, global monthly searches and you can get more specific to you can say, you can come here and type in you know, lose 20 pounds search. So, we can see here that lose 20 pounds 110,000 Global monthly searches and medium competition. Okay, so Maybe you want something with lower competition, how to lose fat, low competition, you know 1.5 million global monthly searches.

And that's basically what you do. You just go in here and try to find words that have lots of searches, low competition, and then you can target these keywords in your campaign and you can be sure that, you know, people are searching for this and whatever platform you're using. Okay, so these are going to be popular keywords whether they're in Google, no matter where you are. Okay?
