Hello and Welcome
I’m so glad you’re here. My goal is to help guide you on a journey to success with your fantastic short-term rental property. I poured my heart and soul into this course with the underlying goal of helping you to create a beautiful rental property that will be wildly successful, and also something that at the end of the day you can be immensely proud of.
Interior design in a nutshell all comes down to lots of planning and practical decision making. It’s also about finding the right amount of inspiration to keep you moving in the right direction towards your goals. You’re going to likely get stuck somewhere along the way, but don’t give up. The course outlines and objectives.
The course contains 5 lessons, that are designed to be completed in sequential order. They do build upon and reference each other as you go along. Do your best to complete the exercises for each lesson before moving along to the next.
- Lesson 1: The ABC’s of design: This is the longest lesson, so stick with it and don’t give up If you follow through with the exercises, this lesson will provide you with a foundation of residential interior design skills.
- Lesson 2: Designing the perfect living room: You’ll learn why it’s important to start with a plan, not throw pillows, and why this main gathering space in your short term rental is so important.
- Lesson 3: Creating the perfect dining area: In this lesson, we’ll discuss how much seating you need in your dining area, and some practical and easy tips for decorating this space.
- Lesson 4: Creating the perfect bedroom: The bedroom is super critical to your rental's success. We’ll teach you where to spend, where to save, and the items you cannot do without.
- Lesson 5: Like a hotel but better
Here we’ll dive deep beyond just design advice into the functionality of your rental. We’ll talk about the amenities you need, ones you don’t, and how to make your space stand apart from the crowd like an excellent hotel, but better.
