It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society. This is a very beautiful quote by Krishna Murthy. And he says that as I analyze my book, we live within a paradigm and certain paradigms. And we need to understand that although we benefit from the things that construct civilization, you know, Freud wrote civilization and its discontents. But all of these structures, whether they be our economic structure, which currently is capitalism, or our romantic way of interacting, which is the myth of romantic love, or all the ways we interact with other human beings and money and our conceptions of housing And nature, all these things are constructs of man. So when Krishna Murthy says it's no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society, he said, hey, let's take a look at the underlying tenets of Western civilization and see if you know maybe it's not these people are suffering from depression.

Maybe they don't want to work for money in a way that is soul sucking, you know. So, Krishna Murthy was a very wise man and this is my favorite quote by him.
