Hello, hello day five, the last day to encounter your purpose for career today is to harvest today. We've gathered so much information we've done quite a few exercises and games, to dig out more insights. And today is the time that we can finally use it. So that today is your career map. You're mapping your career. It is never too late to start your life.

I'm sure we all heard of the fund, the fund of Kentucky chicken, KFC, Kentucky Fried Chicken. He only started the franchise at the age of 65 I believe 60 something and look at Donald Trump. He started his present political career and his 70s so it's never too late to start your life. Again, I have a quote from Steve Jobs, your work, it's going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly Satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking.

Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you know when you find it. That's for true at one stage. Some of you may know my story, maybe not. It's it's quite an eight year journey for me to travel and to different parts of the world in different countries and then worked in eight different industries, some more voluntary, some voluntary, to find out what's really meaningful for me, at one stage, I really feel like there's no such thing as what he was saying, great work or the right career for me, but I can tell you now, it is really out there it is, at least for me, it's true. And that's the that's what I want to help people with finding the true career that's aligned for you.

Alright, enough of me talking. Let's get started. So what we gonna do is compose your own highlighted occupation list, refer to your answers from day one, day two, day three and day four. So that for day one, we probably already had some details of occupations or things you wanted to do you wanted to achieve. And from day two are the values or the important traits of the career that important to you. From day three, your personality, knowing your personality already generated a suggested list of occupations that's suitable for you, and they fall again, from the things that you're good at your enjoy.

We're going to put all of them together. So bear, bearing all those in your mind. We're gonna put down a list of all the occupations. So from day one, you already have name of occupations, day two, from the values of the things you have done, you already you can relate that to occupations and refer today three years Well your personality test which already generated a list, and therefore, a way to help you, it's if you're still struggling with coming up well of the actual names or categories of the industries or the actual job title. So these are the references that I can help you with. So this is a website by the Australian Government called job outlook gov.au.

It's really good website. If you want to know more information about all different industries, go for it Have a look. But for the sake of the exercise for now, we're just going to pick industries for now that that coincide with your either your personality, your value or talents. They doesn't have to be a match of all of them at this stage, just matching any of them. Just pick out from your your intuition just from from glancing at it You should be able to quickly pick the ones that that's of your interest that fits you. So retail trade, maybe for you transport information media.

And if you don't know what they are about, they are some explanations here or you can click into it to have a look of more details. They have actual job role, but to be an actual dream career has to be specific down to a career role. So when you are picking out you're to pick out the industries and then have a look inside to pick out the actual job roles. It doesn't, you don't have to constrain yourself to only entry level roles. It can be city senior level roles, it could be manager level or senior analyst stuff like that. Doesn't matter because for now we're just looking for that career direction and even it's a senior or it's something that requires a bit more experience.

That's okay. That means that's what we're aiming for in three or four years or in 10 years. So then we can find the entry level or more junior level role off that. So for now, just their job title doesn't matter it senior or junior, whatever that that coincide or fulfilling where you did before which you should already have it in your mind. And so that's one of the way to do it a second way it's browsing the occupations by itself. So there's a full list.

If you click on that link, this link will lead you to this page. So that's occupations by alphabetical order. So many of them you can see the first one, so there are 800 of them. And of course, we do have this career paths exploration consultation package, that is what we do. We do use some assessments to narrow that down, but for the sake of the actual As for now, and if you want it to work for yourself, this is how you can do it. And this is a comprehensive list.

But the way to shorten it down is to always go back to your value, your passion and what you're good at. And again, there's another five minute career quits on this page as well just click on that you'll be able to do it. I've done it, it takes about five minutes, top three minutes to five, five minutes. And we'll give you a breakdown of what industries and what occupations suits you. So by now you should have a list of all of them. Then what we're going to do is according to the occupation list you selected above this specify please specified industry company and positions corresponding to a chosen occupation each column.

You can do it in this box or do it in a separate paper. And why we're doing this because According to the Korea planning or Korea management theory, the really the way to pinpoint and actual career. It's always coming back to a role which I mentioned before, but the way to do it, it's industry, company and position. So that's why in here, I asked you to look at it from an industry perspective and then role. But so for example, you have here, maybe your industry. And I have some I have some, what do we call this benchmark to look at industry as well.

For example, some of my one of my clients, she's in the printing industry, so she was working with absent and that is actually maybe a sunset or a mature industry. Just a quick definition, infant industry, meaning it's a newborn industry. There's so many opportunities, but at the same time, probably not big companies yet not a lot of players in this. There are a lot of potential in this kind of industry, but maybe not so well regulated, as well. Rising industries industry that's booming that's growing so fast. In Australia, we're looking at insurance because of the aging society and healthcare is definitely booming a lot of opportunities coming up and mature industry are the industry's been there they are monopolies and they are only oligopolies, big companies, multinational companies been there for ages more than 10 years that's mature and they're stable and they are the specification of different jobs are really clear.

Whereas infant industry probably not not so much. Nowadays, this it artificial intelligence, applicable to so many industries, I would say it's infinite industry is still refining. So have a look of the industries you've chosen. For example, maybe you will use the same example maybe you want to work in fashion industry, let's say in social media, so that Could be a rising using social media or social media itself could be a rising industry. Maybe in between infant ins rising, which means it's good because that means there's a future outlook for your career, there are opportunities coming, there are ways to get promoted, they are easier or quicker ways to get to step up higher. And your company, you probably want to work.

So fashion. And you probably want to work for, let's say, a local, maybe you do want to work for the Australian to support a local economy. Or maybe you want to work for, say a American or multinational company. And again, so this is how we're going to choose what makes you happy and what kind of company culture so they are private enterprises, they're state owned enterprises. They're forming a multicultural multinational, that means it's multi cultural as well. And their government they're very stable but probably not so much investment in a in a shop time period or not so much innovation, and other associations.

And you'll probably also want to look at the size of the company. So big companies This is again, it's not a define the best way, I'm just saying on a general perspective for, for yourself to choose the kind of company that you want to work for big companies, by definition, generally about 250 employees, but however, they are also definitions as in how it was their turnover. But let's don't get too complicated for that. Now, we're just trying to figure out what's right for us, right. So you know what big companies make homes with, and medium sized companies less than 250 people, but more than 10 obviously, a smaller company will be less than 10 people or family business. And if you like us more inclusive culture, maybe small companies, but we're aware of family businesses as well.

Is that the kind of environment that you want to work for? Or are they are also freelancers, freelancers or intrapreneur type of way to work as well. So, this is companies more like the way you want to work the environment you want to work. So you have your preferences here. And again position the type of position. So a normal company would have research and development or business development the product and service department actually generating the product or providing the services and then managing clients customer service, managing client account answering client inquiries, and marketing and brand or PR.

So managing the company's making sure the companies are being known or it's it's out there people knowing its service or products or continuously putting it out there and sales, finance or also admin or back office kind of support. Sometimes compliance goes into that category as well. And of course HR and general management again, this is not a definite categorization. However, it helps you to find out what type of position that you want to work in. So your, for example, from the list above advertising and marketing professionals, you've chosen, say, advertising specialist. And in this list you're obviously in your industry is advertising or marketing and a specialist you're probably providing the service or you probably noticed sales depends on or research and development depends on how the company can arise.

Again, that's just a way to help you. It goes the other way around as well. Maybe you want to work for product and services so actually delivering or creating that product or services in the marketing, industry marketing or advertising and that helps you to To find the job title in that way as well. So that's that's, that gives you a list of the actual exact ideal job roles in the industry that has a feature in the company that nauseous you that you feel like comfortable, you feel like it's the environment that you want to be in. And in your ideal job role. Great.

And so listen, in order of your preferences, you probably have a few so maybe the first one is fashion or Australia and the second one, let's say it's p, it's publishing and then international company and then you're probably doing working or getting new clients. So you may have a list of them, usually three, three to eight, no more than eight. And pick out your your top three future career choices. Those are the very ideal for you More realistic things that you can work on to further investigate and see if you can get into the Korea. Beautiful. And thirdly, it's these circles below are the eight aspects of that affects once Korea pass.

What we want to do here is you probably already have a specific career right a job role or career path there. But we want to assess that it's sustainable in the future. It's actually going to serve you in the long term. They are a career paths but not somewhere to throw out five years down the track and you've realized you're at the end like there's no way to get promoted or you can't grow anymore. So refer to the career goal you have set and they want based on your current situation on a scale of zero to 1010 being most ideal, what is the score for your ideal job roles are so your career clarity, that's your job role, the political environmental, the political and economical environment at this stage may It's for you. It's seven out of 10.

Or maybe it's four or five out of 10. Australia is actually doing good. I mean, the employment rate, it's it's low at the moment. But however, the consumption is not that good. So you get you depend like you put a rating there. And then now it's all everything else.

It's your only this factor is not in your control. Everything else is yours, your network and resources. So if you want to get into, let's say, personal investment industry, and you were doing accounting before, so do you have any network or people or people of the people you know, that you can leverage, at least for now get more information? What do you need to study or how to get into that? How would you rate your own network and resources, maybe you're eight out of 10, which is great. or four out of 10?

That's fine. We can improve organizational structure Again, that's probably related to the company that I was saying. This is that something that your Korean companies have something you like, or the company you want to get into? How would you rate tact and your values? So if you are to work, so let's say a personal investment specialist that could be a personal banker, or it could be a financial planner. How is this job going to fulfill your value?

So let's look at for example, work life balance from your day one, or day two. If it's if this job has a lot of ot working overtime, or you have to work on the weekend, or sometimes go out to see clients, maybe that's ideal for you some people like business travel, some people don't, and you will give a rating a relative weighting rating. The score for this one and career personality. So is this career suits your personality. That's what you want to do. And again, do you feel How much how strong is your interest your passion for this?

And are you educated enough? Do you need to get another certificate or study something else or further develop your knowledge and your skills and talents in what you're really best at? Are you fully utilizing it in this personal banker or financial planning job role? And then you will have a rating right? So what are the aspects that have higher scores? What can you do to sustain and I suppose Do you want to sustain it?

For example, you already know a lot of financial information. Do you want to keep it that way? Or are you okay with it? You happy to know what you know for now you don't need to sustain it. So that's another aspect you want to think about. And what other aspects was relatively low school?

Why do you think you can improve the school for example, maybe network is not your strengths at this stage. You want to change Industry from accounting to finance. I mean, he's still in the finance probably a different field. But can you improve that, of course. And that's what LinkedIn is for that for our aren't our daily network is for right. So you can definitely So the solution is you want to if you were to focus on one aspect to improve for now, what would it be?

It could be network, it could be education, it could be skills and talents. And I mean, except the political and economical environment because it's not under your control. So choose one area that you want to focus on. And if you want to improve this one aspect, to what extent would you be satisfied with the improvement This is actually going back to setting a goal that you can measure if you don't set a something that you can measure against? It's very hard to tell? As I asked, to what extent would you be satisfied was the improvement with the improvement.

For example, expanding your network, maybe talk to three financial planners By that time you would think you will have a fair understanding of what the job is actually like. And to reach your expected score, if there are three key actions to take, what do you think they are? Again, it always comes back to action because action, it's what really move things forward. Write down the three actions that you can take. Beautiful. So together with part of this day five, there is a dream career exploration exercise, which I really love.

I really hope you enjoy it and you can get the feeling the trigger the feeling of feeling confident feeling you enjoying your love feeling this half a taste of your actual dream career. So enjoy that exercise and then what are your What are your experiences, games, and what can you do now or improve? So that marks the end of our day five and with all the information you've gathered about yourself and from all the job roles, I hope you have a clear picture now, what you want, what you can do, what you can improve and what and you will eventually get there having the confidence you will eventually get there. I'm so excited to again hear from you guys and I will see you soon.
