Welcome back in this video I want to talk to you about QR codes and how to use them effectively in your business. Okay, so QR codes are basically 2d barcodes that you can scan with your smartphone camera. There's actually an app you download with your smartphone camera that will scan the QR code. And then once you scan it, once you have the app, you can scan any QR code and it'll take you directly to the website that QR code is connected to. So by using QR codes, you can route a customer to a mobile optimized website or video, which can present the customer with more information like product details, pricing information, etc. Okay, so when you print off your QR code, there's many different ways you can use it in.
I've listed a couple ideas for you in this video. So you could put a QR code on individual products so people can look up more information about it. Okay, so for an individual product with a QR code on that specifically and then each product can have their own QR code. You can also put it on the front of your store for people to find out more information about the products and services you sell, or your location hours, etc. Okay, so if you've walked by stores, sometimes you'll see these big QR codes in the door. And you could actually scan those with your phone, and it'll give you more information about the store.
You can include your QR code and traditional advertisements, like billboards, vehicle fleets, magazine and print etc. Okay, so magazines are great prints great, anywhere you think there will be foot traffic, and people can actually scan it with their phone. And then really, I mean, I've listed a couple ways in this video for you to use QR codes.
So there's really a lot of ways to use QR codes to market your business, really the sky's the limit, so maybe do some additional research.
