Okay, welcome back. In this video, we're going to talk about the future of mobile. This is yet another section, that good friend of mine on our team. When he, when I told him I was doing a mobile product, he absolutely insisted that I throw this in there. So he gave me some cool information that he wanted me to relay over to you. But this is the future of mobile.

So as more people are using apps like Siri for the iPhone, and Iris, which is not a it's not as advanced, but it's for the Android ranking for this type of voice search will become important. Okay, so for right now, with the power of voice search and artificial intelligence, you can literally ask your phone question and find a quick answer. Now not 10 Google search results to sift through so it's pretty amazing how far it's come. So Siri and iPhone app is an artificial intelligence program that uses natural language processing to help people find the answers. Answers they're looking for. Whereas Google, which is also a form of artificial intelligence, uses written text to essentially do the same thing.

So you may have seen the Siri commercials with john malkovich and Samuel Jackson. But basically you ask a question, you get an answer. pretty epic. Okay. So the way Siri works is that it pulls data from various places like Google, Yelp, Google Maps, other local listing services and Wolfram Alpha. I put a link to that here, which is a computational search answer engine.

Okay. In fact, Syria accounts for 25% of Wolfram alphas total searches. So, the new question becomes, how do you optimize for Siri? Okay, so we're gonna call this Siri SEO. So since Siri pulls information from several places and only gives one search results for each voice query, Siri optimization can be difficult. So here's a couple different things to think about.

Local listing sites. So you sign up your local business effort Google Places, locally, calm Yelp, and all of the other local listing services, the more the better. Just make sure that each listing with each service is consistent, if not identical. So the idea is you sign up your business for all of the different local listing sites, but then you make it all the same. Okay, so when series going through and trying to figure out, you know, it keeps you your business keeps showing up in the exact same way. Okay, that's going to help you increase your ranking.

Reviews. Siri compiles reviews for many different services like Yelp. So more great reviews from many different review sites will help your average review ranking score, okay. So encourage customers to leave feedback. You know, make sure that you're not just getting negative reviews. A lot of times people only leave a review if they had an extremely positive experience or if they had you know extremely negative experience so encourage customers to get feedback.

Okay then longtail Voice Search uses natural language instead of text, which is more longtail by nature. So make sure to optimize your website for longer tail keywords Okay, so a regular keyword may be internet marketing. A longtail keyword may be internet marketing, Siri SEO. Okay, so, longer tail keywords are typically, you know, searched less and volume but they're not as competitive because they're more specific. The good thing about targeting longtail keywords is that when you do get traffic, it's usually really really targeted. And this is going to hold true for Siri as well.

And then a sneaky way to find good longtail keywords, is type incoming search terms weight loss and to Google For an example and scroll to the bottom to see what long tail search terms visitors are using to find a website. Note that these longtail keywords will most likely not be displayed in the Google Keyword Tool. So using the Google Keyword Tool is great typically, but in this case, you just want to go to Google type in the search term and scroll to the very bottom and it'll show you a bunch of different search terms. And that's really what you want to be looking at. Okay, and in local keywords, you want to make sure to include location specific keywords on your website to enhance Siri visibility, okay, so include your address include your state, your city, include your location, specifically, okay when you're optimizing your site, and then also have a mobile friendly website.
