Hi, welcome to dare to pivot. Really glad to have you here. And I wanted to take a moment just to welcome you to this space and tell you and just talk through some of the logistical aspects of this course. Before I get started on that I just wanted to present myself. I'm Joe, I'm the course creator and facilitator. I host also hosts a blog, you choose the way where I talk about creating a life that is authentically made for you.

And so dare to pivot is a an aspect of creating the life meant for you, especially focused for people who are looking to make changes in their life and need a little bit of support. So I hope that as you work through this course, you find value and resources that really support you in this time of pivot. So this course is broken up into five different sections. I'll tell you about each one of these sections and what the topics that we're going to work through are, and also the type of resources that I'll give you through each one of these sessions. So the first section of the course is about connecting within. Within this section of the course we talk about how and why it's important to connect with yourself before making decisions about how to lead your life.

Oftentimes in life, we make decisions and we implement certain ideas, not because it's truly what we want, and what our heart most desires. But instead, we do it because that's what people do, or because that's what your parents think you should do, or because society thinks that you should be doing a certain thing. But I have found that following that course doesn't usually lead to a happy, fulfilling life. Inevitably you'll arrive at across world well, where you'll be called to to follow Your hearts desires. So I really hope that this pivot can be that that opportunity to be doing what feels most right for you. And to be able to take decisions where you're you're led by your heart or led by your your own truest desires, you really need to take a moment to to sit down with yourself and see what you most want.

So in this session, we'll be talking about that. In the second section section, we talked about creating a vision. So creating a general idea of what your ideal life looks like. Getting a clear idea of what the perfect context for your life would be. And then in the third section, we talked about roadblocks so by taking the time to assess what some potential hurdles could be for you achieving this dislike pivot successfully. We Make the tenses of this change more more possible.

So instead of just pretending that there's not going to be any problems and that everything's going to go smoothly, and then everything's gonna go great, we really tight take the time to see what potential asked obstacles could get in your way, while you're looking to make these changes. That way, when you make a plan, we're taking those into consideration. In the fourth session, that's where we're actually making the plan. So we're taking the outcomes or the general vision we've thought of in the second session, and then we're bringing those into much more tangible and actionable goals and steps to create this plan of a pivot. And finally, in the fifth, and last session, we're talking about our mindsets. So it's all very nice and well to create to talk about actionable steps towards pivoting into this beautiful new direction.

But if you don't take the time to adjust some of your mindsets or ideas that you hold on to, to allow most chance for success in this pivot. Oftentimes our mindset or what ended up holding us back, or not allowing for these changes to be successful. So ideally, you finish off the course by really getting real about out ideas and notions that you hold on to that could ruin your chances that this pivot being successful. So for each one of these sections of the course, there are different resources that I've used to be able to transmit the information. Each section starts off with first a cartoon video where you'll need a different character that is going through different challenges in life, always related to the content for the special for the section. So ideally, by seeing what they're confronting it better it helps you better Understand why it's important to, to really move through that part of the section of the course, consciously and proactively.

Then there's always a second video for every section, where I'll be talking about the content of the section, how you're going to work through it. What's important about the workbook activity, just a general summary about what's going on in that section. Then the content of the course is always presented within PDFs. In the PDF document, not only will you always get a description of what you should be working on and how you should work through it, but then I've also for each section provided plenty of additional resources that might serve you if you find that you're feeling particularly stuck or you need extra support for any section. Look at the additional resources and see which resource you feel most attracted to. I've often provided resources In the form of books or or podcast, or documentaries or articles, to see what interests you and take the time to really work through any additional information that you would need.

Then for every section, there's also a workbook document will every section except the last one, where you're really going to be taking the time to sit down and, and do your homework and, and make a plan for yourself and see how to implement the content that was discussed in that part of the course. So I really encourage you. Oftentimes people will take courses and they'll read the documents or watch the video The listen to the audios, but when it comes down time to really writing down what that means to them, they don't do it. And then they wonder why they didn't have success with with the course. So in this course, I really encourage you to to take the time and fill out those workbook activities and see what that content means to you. Because it'll be different for everybody.

Also, within every section I've also added on a audio meditation or visualization activity that I really encourage you to listen to. And also for every section, there's discussion boards. I really encourage you to be part of the discussions, not only to help yourself with any aspects you might like to discuss or talk about more with other students of the course, but also to help other students. Oftentimes the best way to help ourselves learn information and really get into certain topics by discussing them with other people. So be part of the community. I suggest it for every comment that you leave for yourself, that you engage with to other people that have left comments, find people with who you relate or with who you have topics in common.

And see if you can create a dialogue or or support each other in Any type of way that can benefit you both. Also a final resources that I'm also going to be offering. If you look at the first part of the course, where the introduction section is, you'll see that there's a discussion board there where you can leave questions or concerns or things you're struggling with that I will look at once a week to be able to answer the concerns on a Facebook Live on Wednesday afternoons. All the information is there in that discussion board. But I do suggest that you come and be part of the conversation on the Facebook group group called similarly to the course dared to pivot and connect with other people who are also pivoting there. So for each part of the course, I recommend that you work through the content.

Very slow and steady pace, although each section will take you between two and four. hours to complete. I don't recommend that you do each section one day after another. Instead, I really recommend that you take the time between each section to really think about your answers, think about what you're looking to do and think about what you're looking to implement. So two to four hours might be what it takes you to work through the content that's already provided of the course. But then if you do decide to look into any additional resources, that might take additional time.

So with that being said, it might take you between 10 and 20 hours to work through the content of this course. And I recommend that you do it within the span of two to four weeks. Like I said, working through every section, I'm giving yourself space and time to consider the content that you're so I'm really glad that you'll be a part of this course and a part of the conversations on the Facebook groups on the discussion boards. And as part of this community Good luck with your planning of your pivot. And if you have any questions or concerns, let me know in the discussion board of this intersection. And I'll get back to you on Wednesday afternoon.

Thanks a lot for joining. We'll talk again soon. Bye
