So this is a very simple button we just created. And you don't need much more to me to create a button really. In the next lesson we will go through how to make some, you know, more fancy looking buttons. What I will talk about now is a bit different. It can be very useful when you are creating the menu, but also when you are just drawing ties or different stuff, and you need to order them. So what we'll do is we open the align and distribute window read I just did it Shift Ctrl A or you can open and close it with this icon here on the top.

And I will show you in a second. Why is it good for so I put my text here on the bottom and it's not in the middle. It's a bit off on the to the left. I'm a graphic designer a serious things for more than a decade. Now when I see that something is off and usually people do so just to align it I select both of them the text and the box and click this button, which is centering them. And then I want to also center them horizontally.

Yes, it went a tiny bit though my eyesight was good but not perfect. And now let's make another button. So how am I menu will be saved say load. I also want this in the middle this will be trials and this will be Let's say quit, so I have like four different buttons. So I just select both of them both of them object, and then I click, I want to align them. Now I also want to align the master menu.

So I want the buttons to be the same distance from each other. And to that I grew up each text and the background object accordingly. So I have groups for my buttons, I select all of them. Then I push in the distribute box you see, because this window is called align and distribute in the distribute, I push this one. So it is creating gaps. The same size of gaps between the objects so we spreading them out and distributing them out evenly.

If it's too much I'll say for you now, if it's too much, I can take this on higher, still select all four of them, spread them again, and they will be pretty distributed. So this is a very, very nice tool to align my objects. And in particular, when you are creating a manual, you need some order. If you don't want your text to be in the middle of the box, and you want everything to align to this size of this side of the first text, then you can do that too. And how I do that, I'm using control if you use control, you can click on individual objects even if they are in a group. So this is now a group.

See, we were talking about this earlier. If I click on it, it acts as one object If I Ctrl click inside, I can select one piece of the group, and holding Shift and control clicking all the text. And lastly, I click on the one I want to align to. Because here you can set relative to, you will have lots of options. Usually for me, it's the basic setting is last selected. So it means whenever I want to align something to something, yes, I always select the one I want to keep in p place and align everything else to is the last one.

So now I want the new game to stand in place and everything else aligned to the left align to this one. So everything is selected. And then I click Align Left edges and all the other button all the other texts are jumping out to the left. So this is the align and distribute window for you now, and if you have several buttons like this, you can create a menu very, very easily. For your Start screen for your game.
