I'm showing you now a very simple technique to keep your resources at bay. So you don't need several different type of platforms to create longer or shorter platforms from the same time. So I have now this blazing grass platform, it looks quite good, okay, for my game, but what if I want double? Or what if I want two thirds of this or what if I want one or half times longer than I could do, you know, the applicate open up my group, and I could make different versions. So like, modify my platform and draw this injury individually, so on and the end, etc, etc. And on the end, I would have several different assets for my game using to create the, I don't know, 10 times of different the 10 types of different length plus forms I need.

That's one way to do it. And you can do it dividual different installments at the bottom, it might be nice looking, but if you already did a game for mobile, or Yeah, basically mobile or web that the resources are tight, not that they are not tight on a PC. So when the resources are tight, you know that you have to spare wherever you can, and also build if you are a programmer, you know that that you need to build flexible. Same goes for platforms like this. So the technique I want to show you is how to slice up this platform and create a platform which is might not only this unique looking like this one, but tileable and certainly better suiting to create any length of platform you want in your game. So it sounds good so far, how we will do that is Do you want something like this and hope you achieve it.

I will merge with the union all these objects into one then I will create a shape rectangle over. This will be one end of my platform, this will be another end of my platform. So like here, I select and I go to division division, I created three objects from one and what I will do is that I have one platform edge here and one here this is all at the shorter version. And this will be an opening part, a closing part and an intersection a middle part. So, to create this in the same manner I did this one, I pull down from the ruler here, I click and I pull down a guideline, this blue line is not getting to be rendered, it's really a guideline. It's happening you know, where is the bottom of my of my object.

So I will do like let's see this one. By holding control I made the top part or the right part. Straight, then I go to the align and distribute is the same thing what we did with the buttons and align these two sides next to each other. I pull this on to the edge of this button, and I will show you why. Button I'm in this platform piece. Yes.

So now we draw The same for this one. If I would remove these this is already a nice little platform on its own and it can be but I don't remove it. But just duplicate it. Make it brown fitted here can be this wide actually. So I group this one up a group this one and this one Just to make here my little floating pieces around, mind you so it can be like, you know, I can play what I did before. So I have now three objects the front end of my platform as the end of here, and here and here and here are the same height.

If I put them next to each other, they will match. If I now put them aside and duplicate them here, I want the longer one. I just duplicate and match and duplicate match and replicate and match. And again and here I am, I have a longer platform. See, so it's Not this crazy looking, but it's a longer process form in a small game, it won't be you cannot go any detail anyway, if I say I told you before on, if you are not satisfied with this one, you can still make it more unique by making the middle part a bit more different. So I can by keeping these two on the side so it will still match, I can give it a bit of zigzag on the bottom like it's really broken away.

Stone I can play the same thing, which I did here to see in the very beginning. So I can make this one dark and I can make you see This light strokes here and the same goes here. And the same can go here. So now if I match it up, they are still matching on the edge because they do. But they are a bit more interesting now than just this basic one. So this is it, how I made a tile from a platform.

So with the starting and the closing in the in between part you can make as long as a platform as you want for your game. So for example, if I want to select all three, I can make this one and you can have your corrector running and rolling all around. In the next one, we will modify still the same basic platform to create other surroundings. So we will create a platform about snow we understand Sandy or Stoney surrounding we will create different materials
