DESCRIPTION: Welcome!  To start, please download the PDF located here in this module.  The PDF is a comprehensive start to learning about drugs and what to look for.  Before you can start your search, it is important to have a general understanding of what you might be dealing with.  Use the PDF as a reference guide.   
As a reminder, if you find your child is using drugs there are 2 important steps to take:
1. Find out WHY.   Typically, consistent drug use is masking inner pain.  Your child might be traumatized, scared, anxious, or trying to deal with something much bigger than you are aware of.   Ask lots of questions and approach your child from a place of empathy and concern.  Do not approach them in anger.  Getting angry will likely make your child "shut down" and pull away.
