Lesson 1: Building strong lasting relationships
‘Building relationships is one of the four core competencies I reference throughout these six modules and in my other writings. We are social beings and by our very nature, we require being able to relate effectively with ourselves and others throughout our life.
The first and foremost relationship we need to have and build effectively is with ourselves. We see this through our self-esteem, our self-confidence, that is, how we see, feel, and think about who we are and how we are seen by others. The concepts, models, and tools we learn and acquire in this module and the others help us to better understand ourselves, others, and how to relate effectively.
