The output data tool writes the results of your workflow into a file or table in a database. Let's build upon our browse workflow by opening workflow 1.3. We'll go to File, Open workflow, browse, and choose 1.3 browse ultrix workflow. we'll navigate to the in our pane and drag in the output data tool into our workflow. In the configuration menu on the left, we have the option of writing to various file formats. Let's select CSV and give it a file name of HR file and change that to CSV down here.

And we'll save it press the run workflow button or Ctrl R and navigate to the output folder of your file and open it to check that it was written successfully. There it is at the bottom there and if we open it up, we have now output the results of our workflow into a file.
