So let's talk about visuals. The most common visual in any presentation is the PowerPoint, the PowerPoint slide or Keynote if you're using Apple, and certainly you can use that. But if you're giving a technology presentation, the best visual is typically the actual technology, especially if it's any sort of consumer device. So if it's a new cell phone, a new tablet, actually show that now if you're giving the presentation in front of thousands of people show video on a big screen of the technology or images of the technology. People love technology, they love gadgets, they love seeing how new stuff works, so use that to your favor. Don't use the simplest, most boring technology which is a PowerPoint slide with bullet points and numbers and rows and words and text.
Complete utter waste of time. If you're actually trying to get people to remember your messages, so they take actions. Now, if you have to use slides with have the traditional words and text to find, but don't be under the illusion that it's somehow helping you communicate or moving your audience to remember, or take action. If you've got a cool new technology, show it if it's a sort of technology that doesn't lend itself to the visual, then focus on somehow dramatizing the result. What sort of problem does is it maybe it's a new technology that exposes radon, and it's not particularly interesting to look at. You could still show a home where there was radon poisoning and what happened to the people there, and how this technology will solve it infinitely more powerful than just putting up a statistic of how many people die each year from radon poisoning.
So think in terms of visuals, and Your first choice for any technology presentation when it comes to your visuals is the actual technology. It's not words summarizing the technology. It's not numbers quantifying the technology is your actual hardware. So please show it
