DESCRIPTION: Double progression involves only adding 5 lbs to an exercise if you are able to get all reps from each set at the top end of your range. If you are shooting for 12-15 reps, you need to hit 15 on all sets before you can add 5 lbs. Then when you add 5lbs, that should bring you back down to the lower end 12 reps. Work your way back up.
